I used to go to CSUN and my friend showed me this place, which quickly became my favorite place to eat because of the price and delicious quality food. Now every time I travel from outside of CA, I make it a point to stop by and get my veggie burrito with shredded chicken. Best Mexican burrito I have ever had in the states.
My go-to inexpensive Mexican restaurant for when I'm craving potato tacos. Perfectly seasoned and a perfect balance of crunchy/chewy/soft ~ the potato filling is addictive while the homemade shell is sublime. If potato tacos are your jam, Senor Sold is your place!
Just picked up some food for the first time and I love it! Solid food, the chicken breast on rice bed and cheese on top was fire. Moist, well cooked and perfectly seasoned. Thank you
A local favorite for years. And the sister restaurant to Los Fuentes on Vanowen near Reseda. Same owners. Both very good examples of a wide variety of classic Mexican foods. No molé tho. And no pupusas (that's actually Salvadoran). But a large varied menu of generous proportion meals. Can't go wrong at either place, tho they serve some different things. So why not try both!
My Boyfriends carnitas burrito had no flavor. The meat seemed to have been reheated a1 time to many. Dense & not fresh. My grilled fish salad was loaded and had a good taste with the exception of semi wilted greens. As a buisness its wise to cut losses when ingredients are no longer fresh. I went on a Sunday perhaps they were trying to get the last of their weeks worth. Sadly wont be returning.
Quick stop after a weekend walk on the CSUN campus. Great tostadas, eager to come back and try more of the menu. Small inside with just a few tables, but additional seating outside. My wife had the chicken Salpicon Tostada and I had the same with beef. Really good salsa selection at the salsa bar. Tasty, good value, handy for the student population in the area.
I've been coming to this place for 10+ years.its been great food and awesome staff. But I just ordered a burrito with double meat (chicken & shredded beef) and it only had meat. No rice or Pico de Gallo. Not even the grill chicken. I paid 13 bucks for this. Sorry but maybe I'm a little salty since it just happened. Hope it was just a one off.
Currently my go-to for mexican food. Prices are reasonable and food is fresh and flavorful. Vaxx ID is required for dine in.
According to the reviews people seem to like the place, so a friend and I were looking forward to something special so we ordered some things to take home. . I had the Flauta combo and my friend had the Enchilada combo. And both were awful! Three quarters of each of our meals ended in the trash
Food great...service a little slow but worth the wait. A few tables inside and a couple outside. I would at least try if you love Mexican food!
