Surprisingly the best fruit tart cake I ever had. Hate to say but it's better than Porto's. A little bit pricey but it is top notch quality. Also the staff were very accommodating. Went there early in the morning and they don't have it made yet but they took my order and after a few hours they call and cake was ready. So glad that I got it here because we are about to go to Porto's after we didn't see any on display.

No longer Delicious Bakery! Been a customer for 10 years my wedding cake from there is still talked about. Today I went to pick up their beautiful flower cupcakes and instead was shocked to see horribly decorated ones, Vons has better ones. The shelves were bare of the baked goods I’m used to seeing but in their place were plenty of signs with dozens of discontinued items and a very aggressively typed one saying if you bring in a photo of a cake it may not look like it at pick up and if you were not satisfied no refunds would be given. It stated you could speak to the owner and even then a refund would not be guaranteed. It’s like they really don’t want your cake orders. I bought some items anyways since I was there but will not be back. They’re not the same business. So sad to see them go, they will be missed. Note the very burnt pineapple cake

Delicious Bakery is under new ownership... Sadly. They really messed up with the Easter/Passover orders. They didn't bake enough product and didn't put stuff aside for orders. So people (myself included) would go to pick up their order and find nothing from the order was available. What's the point of pre-ordering? I'm sure they ruined quite a few holiday meals.I'm hoping they get their act together and I can leave a better review in the future.

Can’t believe my husband is waiting to pick up an order and has been waiting so far 30 minutes. It is all paid for. They only have two women working the day of a holiday and the day before. They use to have someone just do the pick ups. NOT like the old Delicious. Very disorganized!!!

Very disappointing experience! I have been a long time customer and unfortunately now a last time customer. It wasn’t worth the drive today. I pre-ordered 2 chocolate Babkas with a 9 am pick up time. I had to wait in a humongous line to just pick it up when I finally got to the front they we’re not even ready. The lady disappeared into the back without even telling me and after 10 minutes I finally asked another employee, a heavy set older Hispanic woman about what had happened to the other lady. She turned with a scowl and responded with the worst attitude. Very UNFRIENDLY and you would not have known it was Christmas with that attitude. Will not be returning.

Delicious Bakery uses quality ingredients in all their pastries. They have cakes for all occasions. A well established small business in a Northridge. The Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It's worthwhile visiting this locally owned bakery.

The Delicious Bakery is the best. But don't go there because you will only make the line longer for us. LOL

Brent's Deli's double-baked rye bread is the best rye bread I've ever tasted. It's soft on the inside, filled with nooks and crannies. The well-seeded crust is crunchy. We asked the deli manager if Brent's baked the bread. He said, "No. We just double bake it. It comes from DELICIOUS BAKERY."The address came from Google. I was expecting Delicious Bakery to be a factory, but it wasn't. It's a neighborhood bake shop offering traditional, handmade bakery goods. The day we were there, the line stretched out the door. Waiting, we pass the time learning about the bakery.¹ Seems the queue is mostly regular customers, picking up fresh bread and pastry. The line moved quickly. During the Covid-19 pandemic masks are required. The bakery's sales floor is u-shaped, with display counters and shelving filled with fresh baked breads and pastries. The aroma is hypnotic. The counterperson couldn't be nicer. She answered our questions and gave my wife a sample cookie. We took home cookies, and of course, a delicious, thin sliced, seeded rye bread.Parking is free. Everything is wheelchair accessible. The next morning I relived my childhood: a toasted rye bread sandwich, thickly spread with chunky peanut butter. The nut butter lovingly caressed the rye's tender nooks and crannies, embraced by the seaded crust. I took my first bite. She crackled as my teeth cut into her firm crust and warm body. The bread's flavor enhancing the richness of the nut butter. Suddenly, I felt a need for footed PJs.Topped it off with a glass of OJ and and an Americana. It's good to be young again.¹In 2001 Campos and Martin took ownership of the Delicious Bakery. Since her childhood, baking has been part of Compos' life.

Great bakery with delicious sugar free items

Had to get a cake at the last minute. Called Delicious and they said they had some that I could choose from to pick up. Picked a chocolate, which I was told had pineapple decorations on it. I tell them, "Okay, fine." I'm thinking, "whatever, I gotta get a cake."Wow.This cake was amazing!Moist and flavorful. Just enough frosting, but not too much.I don't think I could have got a better cake if I ordered it ahead of time.Would definitely recommend; will be back for more.Thank you, Delicious Bakery for being so delicious ?
