Good food, excellent service. Our waiter, Jeremy, was helpful, patient and had a sense of humor!

the food was pretty good, but no bread for the table and i said we had a birthday when reserving the table but no mention of anything. they also add a 3% surcharge per person. maybe for those reasons it was pretty empty on a friday night. also the waiter never came by to ask if everything was ok, no water refill.

Food was ok, it used to be better. Chicken was a bit dry and steamed vegetables had way too much onion. Prices have gone up. There is a 3% additional charge. Wait was about 25 minutes long. Service was not good. Waited long for the server to take our order, and the food took long. Not once was our drink refilled.

Delicious lunch at Claim Jumper Northridge! KRISTINA was our server and she did a terrific job taking care of us. We shared Buffalo Cauliflower and Potato Skins to start (+ Horseshoe Margarita). Then shared Lobster BLT and Tri-Trip (w/Bleu Cheese add) and finished with the Caramel Pecan Butter Cake. Definitely recommend everything but Lobster BLT was ?❤️.

Service has always been excellent, the food on the other hand I’ll just say this I’ve had a better 2am steak at dennys. Ordered a 12 oz prime ribeye by far the worst steak I’ve ever had, how can you ruin a ribeye and for $55 steak only, take my word stay away from the steaks totally not worth it. Didn’t taste like any ribeye I’ve ever had as if it had been in the freezer since the pandemic started and some weird liver type after taste. My wife had the steak and shrimp plate said hers was bland and tough. Not what it use to be but you can always find a table and the service is the only reason for me giving them 3 stars. We didn’t complain because our server was so good and they don’t cook the food anyway just thought we’d share to save someone the disappointment.

It was Father’s Day and we arrived as the buffet was ending. The staff had a little difficulty converting back to serving their regular menu.

Mimosa had more juice than alcohol. Father’s Day Buffet cost was too much. Omelet was good. Not enough desserts. Hardly anything in the salad bar. Would return for regular menu.

No Salad Bar: We called a week ahead to make sure the Father's Day Buffet includes a salad bar. We were told, "Yes." We arrived on June 19th to find that the entire salad bar was "covered up" with empty plates, except for 3 bowls of lettuce. That was a huge letdown. A bowl of lettuce does not make a salad bar. Where are the mushrooms, the broccoli, the tomatoes, potato salad, etc, etc? We went to the Rancho Cucamonga Claim Jumper for Mother's Day, and they had a full spread of salad bar. What happened in Northridge? On top of that, the salad dressings in Northridge tasted like they came out of a Sysco 5-gallon can -- poor taste compared to the home-made salad dressing used in Rancho Cucamonga. You don't think your customers know the difference? We do. What's worse, I heard the hostess telling a customer at the front desk, "Yes, we have a salad bar today!" How can you lie to people like that, knowing that around the corner is a boarded-up salad bar with nothing more than a bowl of lettuce? To top it off, the waitress was pandering to the customers at EVERY table, repeatedly begging them to write a good Yelp review, including HER name, so she could win a "$500 scholarship." That's a spin-off of the age-old door-to-door magazine sales scam: "I only need one more magazine sale and I'll win a $500 scholarship!" That kind of misreprentation does not belong in a restaurant, and I wonder if Corporate knows what is going on in Northridge Claim Jumper. You must think your customers are a bunch of idiots, to feed us the scholarship scam. This is obtaining Yelp reviews by misrepresentation and fraud.

We were not informed at the time we made that reservation that the only choice we would have would be to go to the buffet. We thought we would be able to order off the menu after looking at the Buffay it did not look appetizing and the area they had it in was very dark so you couldn’t really even see the food. We ended up leaving because the Buffay was not to our liking and we weren’t able to order off the menu

They couldn’t reaccommodate the seating so I sat somewhere that wasn’t comfortable for me. Then when I got up to get my food because it was a brunch buffet the dishes were dirty and the staff member that I notified seemed irritated by the fact that I was letting her know that the dishes were dirty. She wanted me to use them that way. I mean I’m sure if she went somewhere to eat she wouldn’t want to eat from a plate that had bbq sauce from someone’s dinner the night before and not to mention Covid. The food was good but not amazing I would prefer a la carte. I asked my waiter if they had the chocolate cake that I love from claim jumper’s so I could take a slice back home for Father’s Day to my dad because he’s a nurse and was on duty and I wanted to take him something since he couldn’t make it and my serve never let me know if they had anything available. Over all it was not a great experience. It felt extremely unorganized and extremely understaffed. It was Father’s Day you should have known it was going to be crowded. I love claim jumper’s but this experience was a let down maybe next I’ll give it another go because my family really loves this restaurant but I was really disappointed by the experience.
