The Subs are great! ? Definitely something different than the usual.
Just went in and got an Italian cold cut sub (spicy) and am damn impressed. That was the best Italian sandwich I've ever had. Owner was a nice guy and the wait was very short. Will be back again for sure!-Andy Winchester/Winchester Tile
Amazing subs, best in the valley. If you’re in the area, don’t pass it up! Italian Cold Cut and Turkey bacon is excellent, but top to bottom even the cheese sandwich is phenomenal.
Really good sub sandwiches does not get better than this honestly.
poor attitude over the phone, which I refuse to pay my hard earned money for.. took a peek inside, ingredients and cheap and not worth the money.. make a sandwich at home
Took some friends for lunch , 1 Italian cold cut ,1 pastrami , 1 Beef teriyaki .All Great Sandwiches

Best subs i've had in the Valley since I started working up here in 2014. Even makes a monster of a Cheese Sub for the crazy Vegetarians like myself [and doesn't skimp on the cheese!!!]. I do recommend calling ahead for pickup/eat -in as Balboa is a small shop and can get busy around lunchtime - but it's absolutely worth the wait to get such a tasty sandwich!
I had the Italian and next stop I’d the meatball marinara. Keeping small businesses like the soap it is easy to do when they make a product so great. You can get something this quick and down to earth good… I highly recommend trying the house hot sauce it’s just a righty amount of fire without the burn but does it taste GREAT!!Keep it simple, show up at 15 bucks, leave the rest for a tip and you’re walking away with delicious.
