Been coming here since I was a little kid, I’m 18 now, and the food has always been top notch. Amazing food and staff.
Me and bf always use to go to Vic’s my favorite used to be Chicken fried rice and there orange chicken/chow main. But for the fee months there food does not taste the same and young girl there is rude answering the phone saying hold on and has you waiting while she takes other other’s does say please hold never going back there we are done with giving them chance…
Nah it's over cooked and already nasty prepared. Dont order anything vegetarian its nasty tofu. If u like tofu these people dont know how to prep it and the beef is very questionable. My coworker was being nice and bought me food from here. But it looks like dog food I couldnt eat
God awful. Went there around 5:00 pm. Ordered quite a few items. Took about 15 minutes. The sweet and sour pork tastes and looks like it’s covered in ketchup. The Tom Yum Khai soup is super sugary sweet. The Pad Thai is bland and was served with a brown rotten lime cut in half. The panang curry is also very bland. The steamed rice looks like day old rice.About two hours after we ate, most of us had stomaches.Would definitely never recommend.
im 17. i have lived in the area my entire life with my family who's lived here since the 70s and have been coming here ever since. my grandpa knows the owner and his family and have his orders totally memorized. if u want just a solid place to get some easy food, vics is it. its nothing fancy, yes there is cement seating, etc. but what do u expect we r in NORTH HOLLYWOOD for pete's sake this isn't the hamptons! but i will always love this place from the bottom of my heart and how nicely they have treated my family and grandpa over the years. hes going to be 90 this year and they still write him nice notes on his plates/bags since he cant drive there himself anymore. on a relevant note, the pan fried glass noodles is amazing (i am a picky eater so simple rice + meat/noodle dishes r my go-to's) and my grandpas favorites are their beef fried rice and their burgers. egg rolls r TO DIE FOR and the only ones i personally will eat at all. mom loves their grilled cheese sandwich w/ fries when shes feeling nostalgic, and u can't go wrong w/ a cold cup of thai tea. vics is the thai version of in-n-out when u come to the area, anyone who used to live here that has moved ALWAYS comes back for vics every now and then.
GO TO - Vim Thai Restaurant you won't regret it!!!(9071 Woodman Ave, Arleta, CA 91331)The food here at Vic isn't that flavorful and the lady at the window/over the phone is a little rude.
Amazing food and always friendly service. Panang chicken and beef mint leaf are a go to! My family and I have been ordering food here since I was young and even after moving away we still stop by to pick up food whenever we are in town.
Very unfortunate experience after a one year break. Vic's place was marked with a "Heart" on my GoogleMaps, not anymore. My favorite Tom Kha Soup changed the recipe and whatnot and it doesn't taste the same sweet&sour&spicy anymore, mostly sour and blank overall. Also ordered Panang Curry with rice and when I opened the box I saw that the very little amount of curry was absorbed by the enormous quantity of rice, so the dish itself ended up being dry, and it wasn't regular taste of Panang Curry either. Their only advantage at this point is huge portions, but the wait time was 30 minutes for me with only few customers waiting, clearly it wasn't a rush hour. It made me sad, honestly, 'coz I used to like it.
Delicious and large portions, food is served piping hot… super yummy but they didn’t ask how spicy I wanted it n I didn’t think it would be as spicy as it was (and i love spicy food)
CHANGED OWNERSHIP…. Totally different.Food does NOT taste the same except for the Chow Mein. Other soups and Thai dishes were off.
