First time here, but wasn't a good experience. Ordered two cheeseburger with a couple toppings on each, and onion rings and zucchini fries. Went drive thru, which I wouldn't recommend because the whole order came out wrong. After I paid and looked at my receipt I noticed a couple toppings I asked for weren't charged and my onion rings weren't charged. Wasn't going to say anything but then the girl comes back and says "I didn't charge you for the onion rings, you owe $$". So I decide to also ask for the toppings that weren't charged. She was pretty rude.At the end of it all, I was pretty disappointed. Like the burgers were okay, classic but really not worth how much we paid. I ended up paying almost $35 for two burgers and sides. For less than that, I could get a better meal where my food tastes fresh and my onion rings and zucchini fries don't come out of a bag.3 stars for the food1 star for the service
My wife and I drove past this place so many times and I've been wanting to go but she was always craving other things. Finally there was a night where she didn't care so I suggested we try Toms. She got the 4 piece tenders and I got the double burger with added bacon and avocado. She tried a bite of my burger and said "based on the look of the burger I knew what this burger would taste like and I was right." And I joked that I knew what the burger would taste like as soon as we drove by it, and I was right. It's a GOOD diner burger, well cooked well seasoned better than anything a large chain could give and just the tiniest bit slower. Highly recommend, and I can't wait to try other menu options.
Wow. I've passed this unassuming place for years and never thought twice about it. Boy what a mistake. Came in because my niece was curious. Absolutely tasty cheeseburger and crispy, thick fries were had. So delicious. Incredibly fresh. My goodness. I can't believe I blew this place off for so long. I'm such a dummy. This joint has my vote from now on. Come on by. You won't be disappointed.
Great local spot for good well made food...huge menu and very tasty! Get the Chilli cheese fries if you want to feed 4 with no problem. And the onion rings are legit!!!
If you're looking for something good, just order anything on the menu. Be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, there are no bad choices here. Your food is cooked to order and served hot and fresh. And all at decent prices. The staff is outstanding. The dining room is kept clean and spotless. And they offer indoor and outdoor dining. I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. So if you're hungry, this is the spot. I'll see you there.
Just had a chili cheeseburger breakfast with the wife at Tom's #7 in North Hollywood, CA. on the corner of Burbank and Cahuenga. I've been a patron of Tom's since 1980, when my parents used to take us there for cheap burgers and their favorite pastrami sandwiches and fish dinners. The wife had an 10am craving for fries that could not be denied. Instead of breakfast we opted for an early lunch. The place was packed with breakfast eaters, and I've got to say, as we strolled by the tables everything looked delicious. We looked past the breakfast menu and dove straight into the burger options. Aly got a hamburger and fries (amateur hour) I dove head first in to the deep end of the pool. I got to say, my chili cheese burger ? and chili cheese fries ? was top-notch and did not disappoint. They have a huge menu, and I recommend that if you're in the area and have a hankering for some tasty vittles, you visit Tom's and scratch the itch. So there's plenty of parking and they have a excellent drive-thru that moves the line quickly. If you decide to take a seat at one of the many booths available (inside and out) you will be given a number and your food will be brought to your table. It's a nice touch and gesture for what would you would consider a fast food joint. In the 30 minutes that we were there, they came out no less than three times to check if we needed anything.I give them four and a half Stars for the food quality taste and service. Not what you would expect from a regular burger joint. Do yourself a favor and try Tom's give them your own honest review.
Went to the Tom's on the corner of Burbank Blvd and Cahuenga Avenue. Order scrambled eggs, hash browns, turkey sausage patties, and short stack of pancakes. The only issue with my order was the turkey sausage patties had a chewy texture when I ate it. Also they had the AC cranked up freezing cold. Made our stay in comfortable. This was a favorite place of ours, not so sure anymore. You be the judge.
Best biscuit & gravy you will find in LAThIs place is normally kind of busy and has a lot of regulars and understandably so. My girlfriend and I are absolutely addicted to this place and go every weekend. You gotta try their home fries! Plus the bacon is great and the biscuits and gravy are legendary. And trust me, I am from Kentucky so I know my way around some biscuits and gravy! ? They have plenty of other lunch and dinner options as well but in my opinion they have absolutely nailed breakfast. They have the way the cook everything down to a science because they never make you wait too long no matter how busy they are. A well deserved 5 stars.
Food is great and they give you alot for the money
They have the best patty melt here and the french fries are always hot and crispy. The Tom's omelet is highly recommend if you want something for breakfast no matter the time of day. This place is consistently good with quality food at very reasonable prices and a comfortable dinning area.
