This bbq was real deal. The brisket was my favorite. Super tender and good smoke flavor and well seasoned bark. Great dry rub on the ribs. Personally would prefer spare ribs but the baby backs get the job done.The bbq sauce is so good I ordered extra the second time. The sides and cornbread get the job done but bbq stole the show. Brisket was better then Bludso’s or Maple block imo. Expensive but worth it.
Best bbq I've had since moving to California. Really nice people that work here also. Plus, the smell walking up to the front is amazing!
Everything I've tried so far (which is most of their menu, including desserts) has been excellent and the service is just as amazing. A true local gem I'll keep coming back to again and again.
Thank you for great Memphis style BBQ. My wife and I grew up in Newport Arkansas just 1 1/2 hour drive from Memphis. Now we live in Burbank and it’s finally great to find a BBQ restaurant in Los Angeles (North Hollywood ) that’s true and authentic to the BBQ that we are use to enjoying! Thank you very much and worth every penny!
I finally got to try this place and it's great. Got the sense it's a small mom and pop operation so you're definitely supporting a small business when you eat here.As a Texan, I'm quite picky about BBQ and the brisket and tri tip sandwiches were great. Good quality meats and the sauces were very flavorful.My only small nitpicks are the wonky hours (closed half the days and they close at 8pm for dinner, so sadly you can't go as spontaneously as you'd like) and the sides were a bit small.I will definitely be back soon!PS - Pro tip - they are cash or cash app only!
The whole point of bbq joints is taste and value..You use the name Memphis like you have a clue.No bbq spot in Memphis charges $54 for a full rack..You are clueless about true bbq culture and clearly are exploting a culture you know NOTHING ABOUT..WORST PLACE EVER

Incredible and delicious. They don't have a dine in option yet, however, there are parks in the area that you can go to sit and enjoy your food. Also, there is no option for CC payments, only cash, CashApp, and apple pay are accepted. Please visit and support your local restaurant. It is a Black-owned restaurant as well.
The owners are very nice. Good people. They provide TRUE Memphis style BBQ in that they use dry rub. We had ribs and pulled pork.... I wish they'd add some Sonny's or Seasoned Salt.... something that gives more savory saltiness... THEN it would truly be Memphis BBQ. The greens and Mac and cheese are both really really really good. We want to try the chicken next time... it's been sold out
I've had there bbq multiple times and I've never been disappointed. Even there greens and potatoe salad is really good. The ribs, brisket and chicken always worthy of traveling from Pasadena to Noho. I hope everyone learns of this place and supports them continually.
