Best we have had in LA. Meat is juicy and flavorful. No wonder this is such a popular place.

Tacos El Venado never disappoints. Though everything is truly delicious, their Al Pastor is unmatched. Their salsas can be a little bit on the spicier side for those who are sensitive to it, but if you are, I recommend the guacamole salsa as it is mild and creamy. Seeing as how they are open till 1:00 am most nights, it's an absolute great go-to for the neighborhood. They're usually quite busy, so be prepared to wait a little bit, which is a sign of it's success!
The BEST chorizo I have ever had! The street tacos, quesadillas, and burritos are fantastic. The asada is so tender you could cut it with a butter knife. My teen and husband went with me and they both loved everything they had. It's only outdoor dining, and seating is limited, AND it's more than worth it.
Tacos are delicious!!! Please consider supporting such hard working individuals, their al pastor tacos take skill, flavor, and they have this down! Thank you for giving me a taste of LA
I can't believe all the haters out there in the comment section. Also can't stand it when someone says, "these tacos aren't better than tacos from Mexico". That's like saying this Chinese food ain't like Chinese food from China. I don't care what you say but Panda Express is bomb. It doesn't have to be from the motherland to be good. I've been to TJ, Durango, Chihuahua, and Cabo and have tried plenty of taco spots that are good.I mean let's face it, its really hard to mess up a taco. If your going to make a comparison, compare it locally or be specific. You don't have to be in Mexico to have great food. And this spot is Great with a capital G! Al Pastor for the win! This is by far my number 1 spot in the valley. Angels tacos at the #2. Try it for yourselves!
Their tacos here are amazing and the service is one of kind. I strongly recommend trying this place out when you get a chance.
You must try out their tacos, they're freaking delicious and the service is pretty fast. Plus the service staff here are super cool too.
Never again. Drive from Pasadena to taste their AL PASTOR. .. BURRITO AL PASTOR. To Dismay.. trash They give me Carne Asada.. the lady wrote PASTOR BURRITO... angels Tijuana will cut the al pastor in front of you..
