Great service! Fresh, yummy food! Love this place!
My Summer Roll today lacked Vermicelli in it, was really sticky and overpacked so the rice wrapper was bursting. 3 shrimp used in the whole wrap. The sauce was the best part but otherwise it was JUST greens. Honestly, I truly do not enjoy the food here. It’s sad because my workplace orders from here weekly and finally I’ve just decided, it’s just not for me. The food and overall taste feels very bland when compared to other Asian cuisine restaurants.
Mistakenly overcharge my card twice, overdrafted my account and laughed in my face about it.We had a table of over 10 people, who all paid cash except me. The server apparently thought the $200+ cash was a tip that she pocketed while charging my card the entire bill. I disputed this, and the manager said that it was not to worry and that I could dispute it with my bank. No, I wanted her to reverse the charge, but she wanted to avoid any penalty. I told her she'd be liable for fraud if she didn't report the error, and then she said she would reverse the transaction. And then the server repeated the charge. My bank texted with over $400 in charges from Summer Canteen, reporting that I had overdrafted my account. I repeated this to the manager who laughed and said, "Why so wittle money in your account? Oh ho ho ho!"It took more then three months to get my money back, but I got stuck with a $35 overdraft fee. I will never return and cannot wait for this gross knockoff chain to be run out of business. Don't trust the fake reviews, this place was like Panda Express on a bad day.
This is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is outstanding and the owner and staff couldn't be nicer. I highly recommend it!
