Decided to try this place as it has pretty good reviews and was very disappointed. We got the Hawaiian BBQ chicken and Island Fire chicken. With both meals there were almost no good pieces of chicken. They both had lots of fatty pieces and the pieces that weren't fatty were very chewy. I'm not sure why the quality was horrible, but it was. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the actual flavor wasn't half bad (if only they didn't use low quality chicken). We won't be going again. Also, the girl working at the register definitely didn't want to be there-she wasn't friendly in the slightest.
Extremely rude employees, who don’t want to work evenings and don’t let people use bathroom, because they are closing soon, an hour before closing time!!!They even let themselves scream at customers
Relatively healthy. I come here when I want to get full off of meat rice and vegetables. Can be a little over salted sometimes but that’s a very small gripe. I’m glad this place exists

I've always enjoyed...the sad thing is that they had closed the the one near sunset blvd and western...so it was a BIG treat to find this one too bad 2 far and out of the way...great food and customer service...u guys have 2 open one up near the old location...

I like sitting and watching the people go by while I eat my delicious Katsu.This WOULD be a five star review, but I do not like that there is no way to tip staff. The service is always excellent and Los Angeles is expensive. Take better care of your employees, Ono!
Combo platter. Meat was good. The rice was okay, it wasn't overcooked like you get out of a lot of rice warmers. The salad was kinda tasteless and soggy.
Food was really good. They make their own macaroni salad that is outstanding.
