I am 65 years old. We had dinner at Humble Bird Saturday night. I have never, repeat, NEVER had chicken this good. Crisp, juicy (but not dripping like other places), no grease in sight. We got mild, but used the hot honey supplied and what a combination of flavors. We also got potato salad and slaw. Both great additions to an already wonderful meal. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The place was spotless. I live north of Seattle, but would consider driving down just for more of their chicken...Well, and to visit my kids.
I am a regular at Humble Bird and must say they are one of the best restaurants making hot fried chicken in L.A. I love love their popcorn chicken with their come back sauce, the fries are to die for with extra seasoning. The Sando is so good and filling. I would recommend starting with the Mild heat level and working your way up if you love spicy chicken. There hot level is truly hot and so good as well. Shout out to the owner and staff who are the most friendliest people!!
OK I don't say this lightly and yes I am saying this. This place has the best hot chicken PERIOD. The master crafter of hot chicken Louie knows his craft around making the best product. Knowing how to lock in the juices while keeping the outside crispy. I'm telling you all you need to visit this spot and tell them Rob sent you

Fantastic Nashville hot chicken place! The service was amazing! Causal joints like this usually don’t give personal or outstanding customer service but this place went above and beyond! Will definitely be back! It was a humbling experience!
Love this place, this was my first time here at Humble Bird ? and had an amazing experience. I ordered the humble melt sandwich with a mild heat level, and it was really delicious , the chicken was crispy from outside and just got the perfect amount of heat ? the come back sauce is just perfect!!! So far this place got the best Nashville spicy chicken sandwich ? I ever had here in the valley!!! I need to mention that their staff are amazingly friendly and helpful!!! Highly recommended and I'll be back here soon !!!
You need to try this place. The chicken is excellent: juicy and crispy. The staff is very nice, and I even had a chat with one of the owners and he told me about how they did their research spending time in the South. Also, portion sizes are huge so you get a big return on your investment. Awesomeness takes time so order ahead or be patient, its worth it!
Let me start off with I flew across the country to try this place, and it definitely did not disappoint! The customer service was above and beyond, the cashier got everything right on our massive order and made sure we were taken care of during their crazy rush of people. The food did not only look amazing but tasted even better. The humble fries were just perfectly executed I love how they come with a little bit of everything. I highly suggest trying the melt, the chicken was outstanding so flavorful, and I added a little of their honey. The pair was mind blowing. I typically don’t eat fried chicken because of how greasy it typically is, but it’s not the case at humble. Last but certainly not least, get the fried pickles!!! You won’t be sorry. Thank you to the humble crew for everything. We will definitely be seeing you again before this trip is over.
Food was amazing! Service was even better! I went with my family as my sister had recommended this place, and it did not disappoint. The fries were delicious, the mac’n’cheese was bomb, and that was before we even tried the chicken. It was the best fried chicken I’ve ever had, no joke, and my family agreed as well. And it was cooked to order too, so yes it took time, but it was worth it. The people there were very friendly and kind and it made the experience even better, but damn! That’s some amazing chicken!! 100% recommend, mild was good for us, but still had enough kick to it. Still thinking about this chicken, half bird and fries were enough for 3 people and a baby. Super juicy, super crispy, super delicious. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town.
