First time trying Dave’s Hot while my younger bro came to visit and this chicken hits!!! Shoutout to Ash and Sarcus for the fries + honey recommendation. Thank you!!
Ordered food to go and I must say, this was some of the BEST hot chicken I've had. The seasoning, the bread, the toppings, even the milkshake were A1. Food wasn't greasy or overcooked, it was perfect. As a visitor, I would definitely recommend this place to others. 10/10
Heh #Dave's Hot Chicken in the Madonna Plaza, San Luis Obispo CA - your Opening Day. We came in to get an order but the only food dishes you have are banned in San Luis Obispo - since 2015. Guess you aren't paying attention! We walked out. You lost our business and hope the City Code Enforcement gives you a hefty warning! I talked with the manager and he doesn't care, saying that the Health Dept gave them a thumbs up. Shame. Hmmm hot oily chicken on a bed of styrene! Boycott until they change.
I have a fascination for fried chicken, but I am very picky with it as well, Dave’s hot chicken, so far the best chicken in LA no lie,hands-down, if you’re not coming here you are missing out on life, oxygen and chicken ha ha by the way shut out to the manager Serge, My wife is very picky and does not eat fried food, and he showed her options that would best suit her type of liking, All the staff are very friendly and the place is very clean I highly recommend this place
Delicious, tender and juicy chicken! I got the mild! Fries were generously seasoned and delicious! Mac and cheese is veryyy creamy but good! The Dave’s sauce is very good as well!

Love a good hot chicken spot and glad I tried Dave’s Hot Chicken because it’s so good I got medium spicy and that was perfect. Another at the table got hot and one got no spice. The sauce they give you in packets is really good, slather that all over your chicken!The fries were tasty. I also really liked the slaw on the sandwich. Recommend getting the slider and 1 tender combo.Can’t wait to go back!
Okay- Daves in NoHo are 2 for 2! Second time (tonight was second time I had my order delivered). Food arrived HOT-as in stove hot, DELICIOUS & JUICY. Perfect ratio of seasoning/coating and the size of the chicken tenders, both on the sliders & tenders themselves are HUGE.Both times the delivery was quicker than ANY or ALL food deliveries I've ever ordered from, well before the estimated ETA given. Each time the delivery drivers were very sweet as well. Orders are taped up so securely making it tamper proof- you need to scissor them open.I was so impressed with the first experience I was a repeat customer within a week tonight.They're kinda pricey but- WORTH IT!
Their chicken is damned good. The portions are very big. It's spicy, my wife goes lite mild and I go medium and idk where they get their pickles but I actually like them.
I regret i dint notice this place even after living few miles away. Food is super tasty. Simple menu but taste great. Must try.
