Lovely little coffee shop! I came here because of Alessia Cara’s video. The cashier Johana was so friendly and recommended the horchata latte. Best coffee I've had in the valley! If you come here I recommend the horchata latte or the Hibiscus Rose Lemonade.
Would have given this spot 5 stars a couple months ago when I first started coming here because their coffee really is good.But the owner/manager definitely needs to spend more time training new hires and making sure they know the universal basics of coffee making. I have noticed the past few times I’ve come that some of the employees are completely lost.Yesterday I ordered an oat milk cappuccino. The guy that rang me up had no idea where to start so he called over someone to help him. The second guy started making my drink and I noticed him mixing in some powders. When I tried it, and it clearly wasn’t a cappuccino, I asked him what he put in it. He told me “Cappuccino… oat milk and nesquick!” When I asked them to remake it and literally had to explain what a cappuccino was, the other guy tried to tell me that “some people order it like that”… No guy, no one orders their cappuccinos like that.Please take the time to train your employees. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be returning.

It’s such a family in here and I always feel like an honorary member when I walk in ?
Can’t say enough sweet things about this place. Beautiful interior, lovely people, and a wonderful horchata latte! Jasmine and Kim are so incredibly warm and kind and welcoming— cant wait to come back!

Such a bummer to be leaving this review. The first time I came to Cara Vana, I was comped a delicious ice oat milk horchata latte and it was INCREDIBLE. I was dying to come back again.The second time was such a let down. The owner tried to charge an extra dollar more than the price listed on both their indoor signage and website. My friend and I disputed it, then the owner decided to make a show of fighting back, standing and covering the sign with her hand, and making sure to emphasize to us that they will change everything to reflect the “real prices”. $8 latte and asking for tip? Never coming back. Horrible service.
Cara Vana is a lovely coffee shop in North Hollywood with lots of seating and a delicious offering of coffee and food. The friendly staff compliments the coffee welcoming ambiance. The only downside is the parking, which is hard to find.

Cute little cafe ?. Love the aesthetics. I ordered a turkey croissant ?, iced green pomegranate tea ? with honey ? & a Gluten-free dates & pistachio granola bar. They have indoor & outdoor tables. Staff are polite & offer helpful great recommendations. They’re open 7:30am-3pm or 9 am on weekends.I had service done on my car ? across the street at VIP auto service so I stopped by & to finish work, while waiting for my car to be ready.I also went to to Noho Tires a while back which is on the same block to get my tires patched and they own this little shop so, I like to show my support to small business. Great experience, not overcrowded, highly recommend.
Fantastic food, drinks, teas, coffee. The menu is so well thought out. Great presentation. I could live on the frijoles avocado toast! They have a big smoker for bbq! Love this place.
