I ordered the xs Family Tray with level 1 heat and jumbo peeled shrimp just to try this place out. It was perfectly cooked, full of flavor and Delicious! I will definitely be back. I can't wait to try the other items. Great friendly polite service too. ??
My mom had "The Nook" cater my dad's birthday party. What a wonderful meal! We had the shrimp linguini, corn, rolls, coleslaw, ribs & everything was so flavorful & delicious!
Had the jumbo shrimp with the sausage, creamer potatoes and corn add-ins. It was just as good as the first time I had it about a month ago. The shrimp was succulent and tasty and the sausage was deliciously savory. Good stuff!
We've eaten here twice and the food was great both times. The restaurant was very clean and the employees were very friendly and professional. The food can be really spicy so don't underestimate their level of spicy haha.
Wow what a find. Cajun food done right. Definitely the best Jambalaya on the west coast and probably one of the very best anywhere found it this Southern States.Its family owned and small but the food is out of this world.
Pleasant surprise to find such great food in a strip mall. We had shrimp linguini and jambalaya, both were super good and attractively presented. A word of warning, regarding the heat level. They clearly ask you what level you want on a scale from 1 to 5. I like fairly hot food, but I cautiously chose a level 2. That was plenty of spicy for me. This is definitely a place to return to for great Cajun food. Bye the way, this is not fast food, but freshly prepared, so please be a little patient. The wait is DEFINITELY worth it.
A cute little Cajun restaurant in the unassuming corner of the 2nd & River Rd doing plaza. This restaurant is appropriately named, "The Nook". I walked in not because I wanted to try it but, because I smelled it! I am so excited to have another option in the Eastvale/Norco area. The owner was pleasant. Sure was doing catering in the Eastvale area for 5 years before opening her dream job. I am excited to try the food. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place. I will update once I get to try my take out food.
If you want really good Cajun food this is the place the NOOK Located in Norco California River Road and 2nd St. absolutely fabulous taste the sausage was awesome the shrimp was awesome the potatoes were awesome reminded me of back home East Texas will be back again
Went today for lunch. Greated very pleasant by owner. Had good knowledge of her menu. Gave great suggestions. Cool modern decorations.Let's talk about the food! Good portion size, my shrimp linguine couldn't be finished in one setting, second meal! Flavor was deep. Cajun corn vary flavor and crisp corn not overcooked. Cajun fries... I liked my fingers-French fries in this buttery seasoned pile of goodness was expecting that assumed some powerdery seasoning but loved the stuff on top not sure what else to call it. Jambalaya hard to describe but good. I've had Jambalaya many times growing up and this was one the best outside of my mother's for true flavor.Will defintely go back again.Downside is it is in a strip may go unnoticed but now that I have found it I will go back!
Outstanding service & delicious cajun gourmet. Bring your appetite!We came to The Nook with family to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We ordered the XS Family Tray Spicy Level 2 (This size was perfect for both of us-we finished it LOL), cajun pasta tray, and side of rice of course. It was all so tasty and fulfilling. We had plenty of the pasta left to bring home as well.The owners are so sweet and made our experience here great. We can't wait to tell our friends and family about it. We will definitely be back soon.
