Our party of four was seated promptly and handed our menus. We waited 15 minutes for our waiter to even walk over and acknowledge us saying, “Hello, I will be with you in just a few minutes.” He could have at least took or drink orders but we were low on his priority list. Definitely not a place that I would ever visit if this is the standard of service we can expect. As far as I am concerned, the waiter could have thought we were not great tippers considering the fact that we are an interracial family.
It's a very nice quaint chain restaurant nestled in Norco. Easy to see from the freeway but hard to see from the street. Very clean and spotless. Basic food service and a good variety of pies. Employees are very friendly. Breakfast is served all day and in big portions. Had breakfast for dinner. Pancakes, sausage, eggs, and home potatoes. That was normal as expected. 7/10. My daughter had the Polly Burger. Kinda small but the onion rings portion was very satisfying to her. 7/10. The price is ok. Comparable to Denny's but with a smaller menu. And better quality. We will go back eventually.
Best meal ever at Polly's tonight! We enjoyed the new honey butter fried chicken, mashed potatoes and southern style green beans and the Salisbury steak with mushrooms, mashed potatoes and fresh mix veggies with cornbread that was perfect! I can't wait to have the apple pie for dessert when we get home. Great service from all the staff! They remodeled since the last time we were there and it looks great! We look forward to coming back and trying more new items on the menu!
The staff and environment were fabulous, and very helpful on our first visit ever, to Polly's Pies. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing, and our meals were served in a timely manner. We MUST discuss the ginormous cinnamon roll, which came highly recommended by other, regular patrons of the establishment, as well as the staff. Our lovely waitress offered up a her favorite spin, on this classic favorite, by adding strawberries and whipped cream--DELICIOUS!!! The host was helpful in helping us choose one of the many tempting pies, before we were seated, and once our meal was over, our freshly baked Apple Crisp Pie was delivered to our table. You must go for their breakfast. I will be heading back for lunch, and dinner, so lookout for my reviews!
Ten plus minutes wait, no service given. Attendants “milling around” behaving as if hungry customers are of no concern to them. I’m here to eat. Ridiculous!!! Waitresses cleaning and wiping, that was awesome, but the menu cards were very, very greasy?. Yes, oily.A menu was given but no service for food. Again ridiculous!! Longest wait ever, … for food. Unacceptable!
This was one of my mother-in-law's favorite places for breakfast. She loved the Bananas Foster French Toast. We had a bit of waiting for a table, but there is plenty of space between tables, and the food was very good. My wife had the Bananas Foster French Toast, and I had the pastrami hash skillet. It was tasty and plentiful. The service was very good. Even though our waitress was new, she took excellent care of our needs and we enjoyed our breakfast even more interacting with her.
Overall, it was a good experience. Our waitress Rachel was new, if we had a question & she wasn't sure she asked her manager. The food was delicious, I had the half roasted chicken. It was so flavorful and I would definately come back for it. I was looking for half fried chicken but the roasted chicken satisfied my palate!OMG! The French Fry presentation was "GREAT" in the basket plus the skinny fries were delicious. Those two I would come for with a strawberry shake (not sure if you sell), lol
Today I had the pastrami hash skillet I had some gravy put on and it was really good scrambled eggs my wife had the Half turkey sandwich with a salad they were both really big and lots of ingredients we both had pie everything was great
Norco CA is a charming, quaint town and Polly's Pies is the perfect addition to the area. I have been trying to stop by for a visit for some time. I'm glad I did. There is a lot to choose from on the menu. The pies are the added attraction. It was a very pleasant visit
Food was good Ana our server was terrible didn't ask us about our food order came out with scrambled eggs ... not what I wanted ignored our table several times .Coffee had ground beans in it.Mamosa glasses had particules on the glass and in the drink. Cinnamon roll came out cold. Talk to manager he did nothing for our bill. Probably won't come back .
