I'm leaving a five-star review because the service is always excellent, but the steak was less than.Steak appeared to be cooked perfectly, between rare and medium rare, it just wasn't chewable throughout.I love this place because it has the absolute best chicken fried steak, possibly I've ever had. So I'll definitely be back for more of that I also love the portions, definitely made for hungry diners.The chicken fried steak combined with the awesome gravy will leave you wanting more, biscuits are perfect and the gravy absolutely amazing, the flavor is unmatched, and it's thick enough to stand a spoon up in.The sweet potato fries as my potato substitute, we're perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.This is one of my absolute favorite places of all time for breakfast and lunch, because of the excellent service and always excellent food...It's just not a steak place for me, keep in mind I was raised vegetarian so I've always had a love-hate relationship with steak, because I didn't grow up chewing on it.
Talk about feeling like you took a step back in time and you are having a meal at your grandparents farm. Food was excellent, service was great . You won't find this original country cooking anywhere else. Definitely coming back.

My boyfriend loves this place. The food was passable, at best. Their prices were way too high & the Waiter acted like he was serving food at a restaurant with 5 Michelin stars. I hope we don't go back.

The Cowgirl Cafe has excellent/ quality food at affordable prices. Great atmosphere and competent waitstaff. You'll enjoy a super dining experience. Skip the chain restaurants and visit the Cowgirl Cafe.
