Arrived around noon on a Saturday, restaurant was half full and there was a 15 minute wait! Decided to sit at the bar and had a few outstanding beers. The bartender was slammed, but she took great care of us. The chili needed a huge hit of Tabasco, and was barely warm. The grilled cheese had sat so long it was congealed into a huge mess, the fries were hot, so that was a plus. My buffalo chicken wrap was very good, but sweet potato fries were cold, too. My husbands rare hangar steak came out medium well, with cold mashed potatoes and veggies. Won’t be back, need to staff up!
We love Black Horse. The food is always delicious and the service is very friendly. Today was extra busy, as Thursdays at 3 often are. We recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a wonderful meal at a reasonable price.Hangar Steaks are incredible. And their chili is awesome. Add a piece of warm corn bread and it's a meal on and of itself. We always take leftovers home for another whole meal.
Stopped by for the first time 3/2/22. Had the potato skins, chili, sirloin steak and cornbread. Everything was lacking flavor. I had to put salt and pepper on everything as nothing had seasoning. Only the chili and cornbread were pretty good. Pretty disappointed as I was highly recommended this place. Will give another try for something else but the steaks definitely never again. How can they mess up a steak this bad?

A must for anyone who enjoys tasty food with a welcoming atmosphere.. from walking in the door and being greeted by two fun and charming hosts as soon as I was seated our drinks order was taken are Server was Sydney she made are evening delightful by helping me and my daughterPick out the right meal there's so many options that look tastyCheers to Blabk Horse Tavern and Sydney
I always enjoy coming to eat here. I gave it 4 stars because the garlic bread was not that great, however everything else was just fine.
Ordered for a family of 5 and everything was horrible, spicey or soggy and had no seasoning. Waste of money. worse than cafeteria food!
We keep coming back here.All the food on the menu is good.All the servers are wonderful.Great little local place for the whole family.The kid loves the potato soup. The wife really enjoys the salad. The hangar steak house special is really good and the most expensive item at $25, but it also comes with potato, soup or salad, and bread side. You can't go wrong with your choices.
One of the best experiences I've had in a long time. The food was phenomenal.. the French dip was to die for. Cece .. the bartender was a doll and deserves a raise. So personable and super cute ( smelled good too) I would definitely come here if u get the chance.
The food was amazing! I definitely recommend the Irish Nachos and Potato Skins! The Texas Red Chili was the perfect side for my dish!
One of the best restaurants in Norco. Most of the food is hand prepared - not premade.With Covid, I did not have the opportunity to visit personally, but thought I would try delivery service via Grub Hub. I've had some disappointing experiences, so my expectations were low.My steak dinner was the best! Cooked to perfection, real mashed potatoes, and real hand-cut vegetables consisting of squash and carrots. It was the best meal I had in ages!The meal also came with the soup of the day which was potato cheese. It was fantastic! Nicely cut-up potatoes, cooked perfectly in a cheese sauce with bacon bits.The meal was a little pricey, given I had to have it delivered, but worth every cent. First meal I didn't have to throw half of it away, so it was a bargain.I really hope more people will frequent Black Horse so they stay in business. If you don't want good food, but GREAT food, these guys are the best!
