It's ?? Good. Now I'm from Texas..I do my own B.B.Q ing on a big, to large scale sometimes so I could be picky & or Bias on this.I very much enjoyed the sausage. The ribs were fall off the bone. The brisket was TENDER..The Mac and cheese ? was ?? good. The cornbread was good enough for me to want that they served collard greens ? but NOO.Those sweet potato fries were good but would be better if it were not SOO sweet with the finishing topping. The ? Lemonade was Texas GOOD.For California yup this place will be around for a while.Go check them out.
Came in Father's Day and it was my family's first visit here. Wife ordered the pulled pork nachos: Chips were home made, pork was delicious, and toppings were just right..not overbearing or under served. My son got the Oink burger..wow! Great sized burger and he added their Memphis sauce..he said this is fire dad..lolWe also got the sliders with brisket and links. Brisket was juicy and the links were well cooked.I got full rack of ribs: came off the bone easy and were well cooked. Sides: Jalapeño bacon mac n cheese..delicious, not too cheesy, right amount of jalapeño so its not burning your mouth but gives it a lil kick, and bacon. Brisket baked beans: loved these with my cornbread, both are amazing. Its a decent size restaurant but could see that seating would be limited when busy. Lots of people were getting "to go" orders which helped with seating. My family loved it and want to come back soon
Portions are great, flavor not so much. When I get bbq I want it to have a smokey flavor, which none of the food had. Mac and cheese was a little dry. But it's a cool place if your in a pinch.
Honey brought me here for Mother's day. Food was amazing ?
First time here, and got the "Triple Threat" combo (3 meats and 2 sides), which was perfect for two people to try a variety of items. The meat is exceptional. Got the smoked beef brisket, baby back ribs, and pulled pork - and all three were made to perfection, super soft (never knew meat could "melt" in your mouth), easy to chew, good flavor but not overly-sauced, not dry. Also loved the sweet potato fries which were different from other places because they're made extra crispy and have a caramelized taste!Lastly, shoutout to the servers who were all super patient and friendly, as we arrived late and finished eating past closing (they don't kick you out).
Best BBQ I've ever had for the price! Beats Lucille's Smokehouse & it's cheaper! I make sure to come here weekly from now on ??
I've eaten at Badlands once, and it was great. The staff were helpful, the store is appropriately appointed, and the food preparations were great. I had the Lonestar sandwich, and other people in the party had other sandwiches and salads, and everyone appreciated and enjoyed their food. My only complaint is that the parking lot is too small for all of the stores in that center, but it's not the fault of the restaurant.
Just average BBQ. The corn is flavorless so do not order that
The service is great I love that in a place the cashier recommended the trio which allowed us to get the sliders that u can try 3 different types of meat the hot link was our favorite the jalepneo cheddar one is better than the Cajun in my opinion the pulled pork was better than the brisket the fried jalepneos are delicious it was about 30 bucks for an appetizer, a plate, and a hot link on the side for 2 of us to share.
My husband and I go out of our way to stop here any time we are passing through. My husband loves their meats, and I’m partial to their salads and the famous fried pickles and jalapeños. The service is great and surprisingly fast even when they’re busy.
