Just a great atmosphere. If you like eating with a view of the ocean and ships in the background this place is for you. The food is great and the only restaurant I have been to where the manager is always accessible because he's out on the floor all the time. Don't miss the daily specials. I would suggest prime rib Wednesday. Highly recommended ?.
We visited the restaurant with a large group of colleagues (around 20 of us), and the restaurant handled our group with ease. I’m from the East Coast of Canada, so I consider myself well-versed in seafood and this experience did not disappoint. The food was great, the service was efficient, and the view was incredible. We are outside on the patio, which I would recommend. I would go back again!
We have been in Orange County for 2 years and this is the only place we go out to! We are happy hour people and usually cook at home but this place makes us feel good. They even brought my boyfriend a brownie and ice cream with fruit on his bday ❤️ We love this place!
Excellent service, great food, huge portions. Transient tie up for boat and easy in/out for good service. Great location also for walking inland
Awesome service!! On Valentine’s Day! Caught the late lunch,, which was awesome!! Loved the Black and Blue Salad!! Sean was our server and was awesome!!
I called to make a reservation for Valentine time. I spoke to a person who asked me to wait for her to transfer my call to a reservation team. And she let me to wait more than 3 minutes without any person on the phone!!! She did that 2 times to me! If your restaurant wouldn't want to get more customers, you should have inform public. Do not waste my time like that!
What a great deal. Full lobster tail dinner for $29. An awesome happy hour where there are some great bargains provided you order before 6 PM.The service was “good.“ I did wait three or four minutes before someone noticed me and came to see me. I then waited another almost 10 minutes before a server noticed that I was there. Only when they brought food to the table behind me did someone ask if I had been helped. After that, though, the service was friendly, effective, and helpful. I believe that Chuck Norris at one time owned this establishment, and Jean-Claude Van Damme worked as a bouncer here- unless that’s a different “Woody’s wharf“ near the LA area…
Great time. Awesome bartender. Food and drinks were so good. Also met someone from my hometown state of Ohio. He is an amazing magician. Blew our minds. He will be there on March 7 I believe. Check him out. Food was so good and martinis..yummy.
One of the few places with reservations on a busy Saturday during the Newport Beach Christmas boat parade. I think I can tell why.Food was decent, but service is slow. Not the fault of the staff that i can tell. Staff was friendly and one of the guys was really running around trying to get food out and tables cleaned. Problem was, place was packed and they had a party in the back room. Pretty much a party crowd too, probably due to unlimited mimosas on Sat and Sun.Food wise, I would say decent to good. Tried the clam chowder based on the servers recommendation, but also ordered the Cioppino which is what sounded best to me. Both soups had good flavors and seafood was fresh and plentiful, they were just a bit dry. Hard to do to soup, but both needed more broth.GF ordered the hangar steak and ahi. Ahi was good and had good flavors. I loved the fried wontons. Hangar steak was also tasty, but can tell it had tenderizer and I personally would prefer a bit of chew than over tenderized meat. Will I be back? Maybe. Drinks were super strong and it seems like a fun place if you can get a seat outside by the water. Maybe next summer.
The food is amazing with a great menu for lunch and dinner. When it comes to clearing out the tables to make room for the dance floor, they know the perfect time to do it. Sunny one of the managers and bartenders was so nice and took care of our (rather large) party. It was also fun watching people arriving on their yachts.
