Wilma’s is a great, family friendly spot. The servers are fast and get food out quickly, which is important is you have a little one! The meatloaf sandwich was a hit and my sourdough cheeseburger was amazing. When you get an order of fries, they’re shaped like potato chips. I loved them! There are a couple of dining areas and a great bar area as well. We were there for lunch. I’d like to go back!

Charming restaurant in the heart of town. Breakfast foods are delish and on the table in minutes. Even when the place is packed! You won’t go wrong here for bkfst.Come in hungry…..go out ready for a nap.

Good service and food. The atmosphere is super homey and the selection of food is huge. It's definitely a popular local spot and I'd recommend swinging by for breakfast or brunch if you're nearby. I would say it is usually pretty busy on weekends but my friends mention it's pretty relaxed on weekdays. I think the portions are good even if it feels a little expensive (but maybe that's just the area) as I was paying what felt like NYC prices in Orange County which is rare.

This cozy, chic, unique eatery is a MUST. From friendly and attentive servers to beach murals to 4 different small dining rooms, each w/ its own decor. And then there is THE FOOD!!! IT IS JUST INCREDIBLE.I assure you this is a spot you can take anyone you want to give an awesome memory.

Judging by the popularity of this restaurant (it was packed) I'd say Wilma's is a local institution that is loved by all! I'm happy to say I was not disappointed. The hard part is deciding what to order from their massive menu selection. There is definitely something for everyone. The friendly staff are efficient and accommodated our stroller on the patio without any fuss. After breakfast we were in the perfect location to meander through the small boutique shops and walk along the beach path. Highly recommend.

Found this on a search for gluten free (g/f) options near Newport Beach. We ate dinner there two nights in a row. Evelyn and Guillermo are fantastic! They both checked in with us to make sure my daughter was doing ok with her g/f dinner. Guillermo was there both nights, and he remembered us the 2nd night we showed up. Both nights, several people were checking to see if our drinks needed refreshing or if we needed anything at all. Everyone who worked there seemed really nice. Delicious food and the overall menu is gigantic. I haven't written a review in quite some time, but specifically logged back in to TripAdvisor to write a review about Wilma's. Very impressed overall!

When we arrived for our stay in Newport Beach, we were ready to explore! We followed Marine Avenue right into Balboa Island. This main street of the island is filled with cute boutiques, gift shops and restaurants. We decided on the unassuming Wilma’s Patio after seeing their posted menu offered a wide variety of items, from sandwiches to Mexican.I decided on the Reuben sandwich, always my go-to when I see it on the menu, and it did not disappoint. My husband chose the burger on sourdough, which was a plateful! We sat on the small heated patio in front of the restaurant, and with the good service and vibe of Marine Avenue, it was a relaxing evening after a day of traveling.

An airy bright beach cottage venue with great service and tasty food. Classic brunch lunch diner options with in house specials that are tasty. Daughter and I really enjoyed the sourdough burger with house sauce. Tender tasty burger. Server was perfect for when to stop by and refills happened smoothly. Glad to revisit.

Not bad, but why do waiters literally kick customers out? There are a lot of empty seats in the evening, people are having fun, why kick them out?Once again, my family and I came here for dinner. As always delicious, but again when I chose carne asado, it was gone. Again, one star is off the table. When are you not going to disappoint me?

Great Place, great staff, and a lovely town
