Food was good, was just embarrassed by the cashier. As she took our order, we were confused because the amount showing up on the register was different from the posted menu. Asking why the price was different, she responded, “We’ve raised our prices. Do you not have enough money?”Very embarrassing and made the environment awkward. Probably the best $12 sandwich I’ve had, but not a good environment to enjoy it.
We ordered the Brussel sprouts and 3 sandwiches. The sandwiches were fresh and the Brussel sprouts cooked to perfection! We were all impressed and will be back for more!
Absolutely amazing place!Visiting with family, been in the area a few times over the years but don't know it. Menu looked good, pictures looked good and reviews looked good.None of those things did the place full justice.Great location off the beach, finished having fun there and walked over. Simple menu but the food is fresh and very well made and thought out with very generous portions!We had a pizza, three sandwiches and two sides of fries, the sandwiches are big enough to be a meal for two.Very friendly staff and just amazing food!I can imagine how crazy busy they get during the full summer swing, not a lot of room in side but great for take out and enjoying on the beach too.
FRESH. DELICIOUS. LOCAL. Tidepoole’s is the place to go in Newport / South Huntington Beach for delicious food made with fresh ingredients served by thoughtful staff. The owner & his mom are so kind & engaging with their customers. If you come before noon, highly recommend the wakey wakey breakfast burrito (best in Orange County). They have a good selection of gourmet pizzas, tasty deli sandwiches, fresh salads & appetizers. Our family of 9 really enjoyed the crispy brussel sprouts, Poole Boys pizza & the award winning Big Blake sandwich. Our older kids really enjoyed the scenic patio seating out back while my wife and I enjoyed the comfortable indoor seating. We will be back! Highly recommend Tidepoole’s if you’re in Orange County area.

Oh my gosh, what a great new old place. I've driven by here with my wife hundreds of times. We finally decided to stop in and it was awesome. They have a great menu (not too many choices and not too few) and the food we ordered was fantastic.This place is family owned and operated and they are very friendly.After i ordered my lunch and paid i saw one of their pizzas come out and heard about their ruben sandwich. Definitely need to go back.Give this place a try!

Is my first time here with my daughter. We ordered the tuna Sándwich with fries and we love it. Love it. It taste really good. My daughter is very honest and she told me she wanted to come back later so she can bring my husband with us. ??? I always just buy the salsa, but I was missing a Delicious food.
Brussels sprouts dish was ok. Pizza was one of the worst I’ve had at a pizza joint. Strange sauce doesn’t taste good.
Such a good weekend stop. Vinny G sandwich is where it’s at! It’s about as tasty as the guy it’s named after. Definitely coming back, honestly I’ll need a rewards account.
