Reserved using Open Table specifically requested outside patio. Arrived and they did not accommodate our requested reservation due to no available tables. What is the point of using Open Table if you cannot adhere to the clients reservations.
Very chill lounge spot to relax and grab a quick bite. Employees were very welcoming and friendly. Great view of the harbor and they had a live music/singer for a fun vibe but not too loud it was perfect. The food was very good and the drinks were good. We went around 3:00pm and we were able to get seated right away. Left around 6:00 and started to fill up to get ready for their evening nightclub!
The Peninsula Lounge was CLOSED! Their schedule includes Mondays OPEN on their website, and you guys took my reservation. I went all the way from San Pedro and it was CLOSED! Bummer! I tried to call them a few times, never picking up the phone. No response on Facebook page, their emails bounce. Really??? what kind of busines does so??
Came for Tomahawk steak and after waiting an hour to order from dinner menu (the only menu online) not knowing there was a breakfast/brunch menu offered for Sunday we were told they sold out of Tomahawks the night before. We ended up at Eddie Vâs.
Thank you! Chicken was amazing
We really loved the food and atmosphere here the last time we came. We made reservations a week in advanced for a 730 dinner. When we showed up, we were turned away. The bartender came rushing down the stairs past us loudly informing us, sorry kitchens closed I’m all by myself. Straight turned us away. Extremely disappointing. Owners need to get their business in order. This should be unheard of for this location.
I shouldnât be reviewing this restaurant. They did not honor my OpenTable reservation. The âgreeterâ indicated that they were not serving meals. They did not text, call, or email me if this cancellation. This restaurant does not deserve to be an OpenTable participant. The greeter was abrupt in his response, turned his back and walked away from us. Zero customer care and no courtesy. The evening turned out to be a waste of our vacation time and money.
Visited the Peninsula Lounge for the first time on the 4th of July. Did not know until we were seated that they were serving a LIMITED menu. Tacos, chicken sandwich and roasted chicken. The price was fair but the food was bland. The location is beautiful and we were seated on the small upstairs patio. The decor is stark and industrial. Not to my liking, feels a bit like a garage. Perhaps at night with different lighting it would feel different. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. All that being said, I doubt I will ever go there again.
We told the server about a spice allergy and she âforgotâ to tell us that the appetizer ordered was spicy. Then, we ordered a steak and it came with spicy peppers. The guy delivering the food asked about the allergy, and he took back the steak. The meal didnât come until my husband had finished both the appetizer and his meal. The waitress didnât check on us. Her back was turned while she wrapped silverwareâthe whole time! The steak was overcooked, tasteless, and left uneatenâthe waitress didnât notice at all and we had to call someone else over to get her for the check. A lousy dinner and then on top, an additional $20 valet charge! What a let down!
We went at 4pm and it was nice and quiet. We sat outside and it was beautiful. We were helped by Mariah, who was wonderful. Mariah was very sweet and accommodating. The food was fantastic! The sea bass was divine. The chicken sandwich was better than Fig and Olives. The salmon was wonderful, as well.
