I wish this restaurant was closer because the sushi rolls were sooooooo good. It is so hard to find unique rolls cuz all sushi restaurants are so repetitive without any creativity except for Ten. You will happy if you just get a variety of rolls because they are that good. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in the area. Decent happy hour. The only thing that wasn’t impressive was the hand rolls. But, everything else is so delicious that you won’t feel like you’re missing anything by skipping this particular item. Using the black rice is an extra touch compared to other sushi places. Ten is a 10/10.

You'll find a full bar with a large selection of Japanese whiskey, as well as specialty drinks such as the Rising Sun, or Lychee Rose! ? ?For starters, we shared a bowl of Miso Soup (with Tofu, Scallions, and Seaweed).. ? Chicken Gyoza - with Ten's House Recipe, Spicy Soy Dipping Sauce... and the Soft Shell Crab Roll ?? (Soft Shell Crab, Crab Meat, Avocado, Cucumber, Daikon Sprouts, and Yamagobo) ?After deliberation, we shared an entree as well.. The Chicken Bibimbap (Grilled Chicken, Steamed Rice, Pickled Vegetables, Egg yolk, and Gochujang) ?We rounded off our night with delicious dessert.. Coffee Panna Cotta - combining a Vietnamese Coffee flavour, whipped cream with a sea salt caramel drizzle and a cookie crumble.We'll be visiting this location again before their move to their new location! I’m a big fan of Ten Asian Bistro. My favorite dish is General Ten’s chicken, it’s a large portion, that you’ll always finish. I also recommend the dragon style cocktail, it’s a refreshing cucumber/mint vodka drink.
I am giving this restaurant a 2⭐️ because the service was inconsistent. Some tables were automatically given water, while we were not. The decor was interesting, it looked like an 80s bar/club turned into a 'sushi' restaurant. The sushi was also limited and almost everything had spicy tuna. The best thing was the chicken bibimbap.
A group of 11 walked over from the Renaissance Beach Hotel on the recommendation of the concierge. The staff were very gracious and worked quickly to accommodate our group. Our waiter was very helpful and made several suggestions which we followed. We ended up ordering almost everything on the menu and passing it around the table. Every bite was a hit! The fresh sushi and sashimi was an amazing treat. We should have ordered more of the crunchy spicey tuna!!
Ten Asian Bistro delivers freshness and quality of the food. Always ask the friendly staff what is the most common items being ordered that day and take the recommendation. You can not go wrong.They will be opening their new location and with it will provide new opportunities to show and expand their dedicated clientele.I'd keep the current location for the local Newport Beach clients, however a 5 minute drive will always be worth it for Ten Asian Bistro culinary creations.
Good food! Right by the airport, cool environment. 2 things that can be improved - small takeout portions (dining in is better), and they tend to close the kitchen much earlier than listed.
By far the best sushi and service in all of Orange County. I come here 5 times a week, and It’s always consistent and the freshest sushi around. Brian is the most profession and kind person I have ever met in hospitality. I will continue to come here for their excellence. Thank you.
I love this place. Delicious chicken and tofu ceasar salad. My favorite. They have delicious sushi tastes fresh. Friendly staff, clean restaurant. I like the entire atmosphere here. I would definitely recommend to everyone.
It's gone downhill. Table was sticky and cups were dirty. Food is still decent but you expect more for the price.
