Taco Rosa always has the tastiest of options to partake of. I appreciate their commitment to keeping the food genuine and authentic. The extra touch they provide with their chips and salsa is always very tasty as the chips have a special ingredient on it that provides for that little extra that you appreciate. The guacamole is quite tasty but I thought for the serving size it was a bit pricey at $10. Other than that no complaints ...service was fantastic and the gentleman who served us was attended to our needs.

Came her for OC Food Week. Some of the food items were excellent, and others were okay. My wife and I enjoyed the fried empanadas. I had the steak and brie taco. Those were both great! My wife had the Chile relleno taco and it was just okay. The desert was a paleta, which is also not my cup of tea. I also felt it was a little pricey for what we got, but given that most of the food was very good I still give it 4 stars.

Year after year, this place never disappoints. i’ve been coming here for about a decade and their food quality has remained High and service is still extremely friendly and kind. I highly recommend them.

Today we ordered chicken quesadilla at the bar which the bartender said would be terriffic. The result, a quesidilla with a couple of scraps of ckicken, probably left over from the night before. Not edible, yet there was no manager to review the problem and we got stuck with $17 chickenless quesidillas. We have mexican food at various restaurants somewhere in Newport Beach every week, this was terrible.

Good food. But margaritas were almost like water and very expensive, though they were tasting good. Around 15$ each+tax+tip. You expect that for that price they make a glorious margarita with some tequila.

If you expect free chips with your meal this is not the place for you. We were charged $6 for chips and $10 for SOME guacamole. My party of four and I were asked if we wanted chips and guacamole, to which we replied yes. This was prior to having received menus. Once we realized that the chips/guacamole cost more than any of our meals we were confused and felt tricked. We refused to pay the steep price (chips are typically free) and a manager came out to confront me. I explained our position and he told me the pricing was in the menu. Well we hadn't seen that and who goes looking for the price of chips and guacamole in a menu anyway? He then said, "Well you ate it, didn't you?", with the kind of attitude and charm that will keep me from ever visiting the establishment again. He then told me that no restaurant gives out guacamole for free. Admittedly, I am aware that there is usually a cost for guacamole. I was foolish enough to think that there might not be a cost given the fact that the chips/guacamole were offered without any request by myself or the three others with whom I was dining. Regardless, I would have been willing to pay the $10 for guacamole given the fact that it usually does come with a cost, but his attitude did nothing to convince me. After lecturing me he told us that he wouldn't be charging us for the chips or guacamole. So he came out for no reason other than to reprimand us with his snarky attitude. It was clearly some sort of trick they pull that most people either don't notice or just let slide. The food was great and our waitress was fine as well despite this little deception that I'm sure the staff are trained to attempt. I guarantee we aren't the first to complain. The manager's responses seemed to be part of some script he had made to rationalize the farce to himself, his staff and customers. I won't tell you not to go, but don't fall for this if you do. I would've gone again despite the incident had the manager not behaved so rudely, but that was the tipping point for all four of us. I hope you enjoyed alienating four customers for the sake of your lecture, dude. Nice one.

Always the go to when visiting with my mom. Friendly and delicious Mexican food. Tried the fajitas for two: Skirt steak, chicken, and Shrimp on a sizzling platter sided with rice, beans, tortillas, guacamole, and salsa. Highly recommend this dish!

my meet with eggs was Delicious and the salsa they made from tomato ? and roasted chili peppers was very tasty and the Doritos were freshly made with a touch of chili powder,They were very good ?

Beware if you are making a reservation. There’s no guarantee that you will get the table outside that you requested or that you will be served with anything approaching speed. We waited for 20 minutes before getting served. They also are terrible about responding to complaints. I will say that the waitress we had was very good and tried to make the best of a mismanaged situation.

We had a great experience here. Food is not cheap but neither is the experience. The chips and guacamole were sensational: loved the two salsas, and beans cheese dip. My wife had the two chile relleno tacos rice and beans: her words not mine super yummy, she loved it. The cuisine here is stupendous, to die for. I had the tacos al hambre; the perfect marriage of tart, salty, sweet, and spicy. The toasted corn tortilla with melted cheese were part of a symphony of flavors! Bravo!! Can't wait for my next visit. The service was stellar, the wait staff was a little overwhelmed, but my wife and I enjoyed the perfect socal day on the patio.
