Highly recommended if you want a quick sugar fix. Organic and vegan options. Everything is homemade. Very positive experience and would return.
My family and I are staying down the street and I had to have ice cream tonight. Luckily for me Summerland was open at 8:30pm and I was able to enjoy double chocolate and coffee flavors. They were so good and creamy. The chocolate was not too rich and the coffee had mocha chips in it. So good!! Definitely will be coming back!
This ice cream parlor went out of their way to make us feel welcome! For how amazing they were, this place should give them a little something extra!
ice cream here is absolutely amazing. every handcrafted flavor is homemade, and super creamy. you can literally taste the love in each scoop. highly recommended :)
Ice cream was more the consistency of the high school science project of milk salt and ice. There were icicles throughout and a gritty consistency. Over-priced for the amount of ice cream that was served. And the service was sub-par. Not friendly, talkative, just straight to the point. I'm not sure if even said thank you for us leaving a tip and we were the only ones in the shop. Two stars for letting us try different flavors.

Walked over to this place from Balboa Municipal beach, its close proximity which is nice. The ice cream flavor was good, but the texture was meh. It was not really creamy. Felt like eating vegan ice cream to me.
This is REAL homemade ice cream. Even their waffle cones are homemade. Friendly service always.
