Excellent coffee, any style! Roasters who care with deep knowledge of coffee...have gotten their beans here and online many times.IGNORE the previous review of food and servers (with photo of breakfast burrito) -- that comes from the restaurant 501 Park and their servers review, NOT not succulent Coffee Roasters. Succulent is attached but it's not part of the restaurant.!!!
Best cappuccino I’ve had so far in Newport Beach / Balboa. Just a quick stop for an afternoon pick-me-up after taking the ferry. At $4.50 it’s not the cheapest, but I would definitely visit again.
We were meeting our son for breakfast so I looked up some places on Balboa Island. Found this cafe and I'm glad I did. The place was friendly, casual, and open. The food was very good as well as the service. Can't wait to go back.
Excellent artisan espresso served here. The staff is so friendly and want everything to be spot on. I have become a regular and drive from Huntington Beach for a latte and the chill vibe. The walk along the Balboa waterfront is only a block away. Grateful for all this bliss.
Delicious options for everyone. I love the Vanilla latte with oat milk. (They make the vanilla syrup in house) My kids loved their hot chocolates. They have cute mugs to buy too.

Tried this place on a whim and it was good, not great but good. I got the breakfast burrito and it came with tater tots so that's an automatic win for me. The salsa that came with it was a good as well. My only reason for the 4 stars was because of the service. I got the feeling that the workers didn't much about being there. I normally chalk this up to people having a bad day so I will eat there again and revise my review if the service is better. Cheers
Our group called ahead to make sure they could accommodate us - and they knocked it out of the park! The selection of pastries was amazing, along with the drinks. Super friendly, and what you might think is a small coffee shop from the outside, they have a ton of seating indoors. Highly recommend. Pasadena's Women on Wheels cyclists (all 17 of us) were well-fed for our return trip.
Nice place for an espresso. Next time I want to try their food too
Such a nice place to sit down and have a cup of coffee, quiet with lots of seating. Staff was patient and let us know all the latte flavors (they aren't listed on the menu). The coffee was not quite my style I guess, got a vanilla latte. It was really good with each beginning sip, but aftertaste was a bit stale. Would definitely give it another chance since my friend enjoyed their matcha
