Excellent Late Summer Menu. Love this restaurant. Been coming for years. Just a shame that on our last visit a young lady sitting next to us was speaking in such a loud, screechy voice that we couldn’t converse between ourselves. Would like to have stayed for coffee and brandy, but just couldn’t stand it! Thank you Jacques and staff for always providing excellent menus and a warm welcome!

Pescadou is one of our go-to restaurants in the Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar area. We dine there about once a week and select it for one of the dining experiences we share with local friends and guests. Normally, I rate its essentials—food, service and ambiance—at five stars. On this one occasion, the Boulliabaise special was not up to the very high norm for this restaurant. On the other hand, the lamb was its normal exceptional. Service here is always solid. The wine list is well selected, fairly priced and suited to the cuisine.

The wine, Escargot, rabbit, trout and chocolate mouse were excellent. The staff and our waiter were wonderful. The French Onion soup was good, but more, bread, onion and cheese please at least in my opinion. Actually you can ask for more cheese. I was comparing it to the soup we had in Paris at Le Comptoir de La Gastronomie about wo weeks ago where the French Onion soup was just scrumptious and were hoping for same. This didn't take away from our experience and we will go back many times. The one downside is parking. We beat this on a Saturday by me standing in the City Lot, while my wife waited in the Pescadou garage for someone to leave. When someone left the City Lot I stood in the parking spot texted her to come now and shooed cars away that had just come into the lot, well I didn't get run over so it works.

Another great evening at Pescadou Bistro. This time it was an anniversary celebration. Over the years this has been one of our favorite places for a great food. Just wish it was a little closer to home.

Great authentic French cuisine.

Amice cozy French neighborhood kind of restaurant. Good is good, will return!

Fantastic food, wine & service. Will definitely be back! Morgan took great care of us.

3rd time to this wonderful neighborhood gem. It’s a sure winner every time. The muscles I. The saffron sauce , oh my gosh, accompanied with a loaf of bread, another winner.

Restaurant has recently joined open table and we made a reservation. Guess they have been open for years but thanks to open table we found them. Cute set up with a nice menu and great tasting food. The owners son took care of us and he was great. Hard working young man that genuinely cares for his clients and his restaurant. Good job
