I’d like to go back again when I’m 30✔️ Thank you for a once in a lifetime dining experience:) DTD<3

Personally I feel like it's massively overhyped, I think the sushi is good but difficult to justify the price considering all the delicious sushi in the area. I feel like the fee you pay is for the ambiance.Sushi was delicious and my partner enjoyed it a lot but I personally don't have the desire to go back. It could be because I'm used to omakases that are a little more personal and small, versus here where it felt like a factory line of sushi chefs frantically filling out orders. The cocktails were delicious though.

If you like to dine with Kardashian- like individuals who are on their phones, smoking outside the entrance door, shouting across their table, and otherwise being obnoxious, go here. One women was scantily clad, having her young son taking photos outside the women's bathroom; like a personal photo shoot. The food wasn't worth it and the staff was rushing us from the minute we got there. Small, 5 oz if you're lucky, wine pours capped it off.

Had a great time and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend Nobu to anyone. Can’t wait till we go back again, hoping it will be soon

Excellent dining, super fresh seafood, smaller portions, great staff. More expensive than usual yet all worth it! Cannot wait to return...

I dined this evening with a friend and we had quite an exceptional experience. The service we received was splendid and our server, Ploy, was so attentive! We also enjoyed chatting with the GM, John. Knowledgeable and charming, he and the staff made our night. ?And the food! Incredibly fresh, delicious and beautifully presented!! I enjoyed such wonderful flavors and can’t wait to share this restaurant with my family.

A table at Nobu was booked weeks in advance as we were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. We were given a table overlooking the water , behind a wide column - a rather nice secluded but dimly lit setting. When our waiter arrived we asked him whether we could have more light as the area was quite dark and to be able to see the food would have been impossible in the unlit area. The waiter replied that the restaurant was out of candles and he couldn't fulfill our request. No extra candles in a Michelin rated restaurant? Too far to send out to the nearby supermarket for a pack of candles? We left at once to find a warm welcome at another less starred restaurant that takes very good care of its customers.

WOW! Every bite we were saying OMG. I come to Newport Beach every year for a girls week (just 2 of us) and have never tried Nobu. To be honest I thought it certainly can't be worth all the hype. It far exceeded our expectations for food and service. We went to the Happy Hour and ordered almost everything on that menu and a few things on dinner menu. The yellowtail jalapeno, Sea Bass tacos, Salmon dry miso, Salmon Avocado handroll, Crispy Rice cake, Oysters,Tiradito, and Bento box for desert. Some of these things we ordered 2 of they were so good. Ryan the manager checked on us and gave amazing recommendations and the staff was the absolute best. We felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant they took such good care of us. Of course wine and Sake were also on our list. I highly recommend trying NoBu if you are ever in their area.

We have visited this restaurant for delayed Valentines dinner. Amazing experience. Food was very different from what we are used to. Great taste. Service - absolutely fantastic. Views from the balcony - priceless. Highly recommend.
