The wait was long for brunch. It was 90 minutes. If you can, check into Yelp first to get in the line, no reservations for brunch. The food was mediocre. Calamari was chewy and cold. Coconut shrimp would have been better if the server brought it out sooner. The lobster mac and cheese was top runny and not much taste to it. Lobster roll and burger was just ok. The food is pricey for what you get. The service was also mediocre.Parking cost $3 or so an hour there. The views are beautiful. However, we won’t be back. There are other restaurants with great views, better service and food.

If you visit the Lighthouse before 6pm you'll have to pay for parking, it's free after 6pm. The service was nice but the food was below mediocre. My husband had shrimp pasta which was not flavorful and the shrimp had the tails on, which is messy with pasta sauce. The Caesar side salad was siimply lettuce with shredded parmesan. I had the Lobster Roll with dry bread, no flavor and boring fries. Very disappointing but sitting on the patio looking at the boats in the bay was quiet and peaceful.

This place has parking! Handicapped parking - which seems hard to find. That was a part of our choice in eating here. My sea bass was delicious, and the portion size was huge. The asparagus was nicely done, but the wild rice was rather bland and dry. The coconut shrimp was delightful and a good-sized portion for an appetizer. Great view and nice outdoor seating area.

Stunning view as we had breakfast. The food was stunning and delicious. We traveled 1 hour to have lunch here. Totally recommend!

Ordered Mahi Mahi. Very disappointing. Chewy and lacking flavor. Could barely finish one piece.Burger disappointing as well. Was expecting a decent juicy flavorful patty...instead got a thin bland dry piece of previously frozen smelly meat.Hate to complain, but it's hard not to when you're a foodie.View and waiters were great though

Such a beautiful place to have lunch. But it was disappointing that food was so mediocre. The view of the harbor is breathtaking espy when dine on the second floor patio. The view from the patio is a stunning panoramic view of balboa island.Besides the view, the food is not much to write about. It’s just so bland that I couldn’t tell what I was eating. Like the Newport Nacho appetizer, the salad tasted just like spaghetti sauce, awful. And the burger was unappetizing with the flavor. The saving grace on the food was their desserts. We ordered the beignets and brownie ice creams. They both were so good, like one of our fellow Yelpers mentioned, I also dreamed about the desserts the whole week after I had them here. Our server Carlos provide impeccable service. Although, we were freezing on that day, we felt warm with the care and enthusiasm from Carlos. He brought us hot water and heaters to warm us up. He provided 5 star service.

Best breakfast with a view for miles! We were seated outside and the food was excellent and it arrived quickly. The views are beautiful and service was good. We enjoyed the mimosas and the French toast as well as the breakfast plates.

Loved this place! It was kinda hard to spot but it's at the back right when you walk down the small hall between the building. Everyone in my group was in love with the Lighthouse Benedict, the table next to us even asked what we ordered since it looked so good. I would highly recommend that if you're coming for brunch! It's a small space inside the restaurant so if it's crowded it gets pretty loud, but it's so nice to have the beach outside to walk on after your meal. There's even a nice park right next to the restaurant where you can relax and enjoy the ocean views some more

Chilaquiles are really good. Some of the best I've had. The beignets are delicious. The calamari was good but the portion was a little small for what you're paying for. Overall the food was really good and I would recommend if you are in the area.

A small group of us visited here for lunch and the wait for a table was too long so we thought let’s order take out and sit and eat looking out at the beautiful harbor (the weather was great). A server spotted us and he was so very helpful and went out of his way to take our orders and get us something to drink while we waited. The wait for our order was very short and server brought everything out to us where we were seated (he didn’t have to do that considering we were take out). Needless to say our service experience was outstanding. The food was on par with the service, it was all great. We each got something different and we all thought it was very tasty. Our take away was Great Service, Food and Sights. Definitely be back to try something new.
