Pro's: - about 15 minutes from SNA airport - I was able to check in at 11am, it wasn't the same room category but had been traveling for hours and was happy to make the change - rooms are spacious - comfy bed - good seating in lobby bar Con's - there were no food options when I checked in - my shower didn't drain, and the water was up to my ankles, not good!! - the business center is NOT a business center. It's a Mac with very minimal access, and a cheap printer that was out of toner. I even called to confirm there was an actual business center. At best it's good for printing out a boarding pass - hotel rooms are outdated - my balcony was over the lower building so not a good view - food was okay but definitely not worth the price

I had a very bad experience here the cleanliness was a 0/10, to not have sheet on the beds and to not have a mattress cover on one of the beds during this time with Covid and other virus is ridiculous

AC was horrible and wasnt capable of keeping up with the temp and humidity. They said they fixed it but ther was no improvement. Floor was filthy. Had to wash our feet before going to bed. The tub was full of hair and lint.

Very polite staff but overall quality of service not quite up to rest of world standards. Enjoyed the s’mores night but the outdoor firepit area was not well maintained. Limited bar menu choice and very expensive overnight parking charges on top of huge hotel rate. $515 plus taxes per night plus $35 per night parking. For the money the standard was very average and not competitive with Europe or Asia.

We had a wonderful family reunion in July at the Hyatt in Newport Beach. They accommodated our family with a suite and connecting rooms so we could all be together. They were very responsive with every request from booking our rooms to our actual stay. Shout out to Bryan at the front desk, who made it all happen. He was so warm and friendly and even personally met with us to make sure everything was going well! The amenities were great, we enjoyed the pools, the volleyball courts, the golf course onsite, and the proximity to the beach. It was truly a memorable experience. Thank you!

I ended up booking a few more nights because I enjoyed my stay so much. Great location, resort amenities, some of the best food you can get at any resort/hotel. Yes it’s pricey but good quality food. If one of the pools was designated 21 and up only it would have made it a much more relaxing vacation for those of us without our kids…

If you like water activities, this is the hotel you are looking for. Even though, queen beds are smaller cmpared to other hyatt, the room is clean. Great shower pressure! 5 min walking distance to beach to swim, kayak

This resort was nice and is centrally located in Newport Beach. we had a great time, the staff was wonderful, the rooms were clean, everything was good. My only feedback is get ready to pay for parking at this hotel. $40 per day on top of your nightly rate and resort rate.

We we here for nephews wedding. Beautiful wedding venue. Staff had it down to a science. Everything flowed so beautifully. Also fabulous resort. Spent a lot of time enjoying the saltwater indulgence pool. Very clean and comfortable room. What hit this stay out of the park was the customer service. Best hotel staff I’ve experienced.

The front of the property was nice, but as we made it to the back of the property where our room was, it got worse. Our rooms were so rundown & filthy that we felt like we were staying at a Motel 6. Not acceptable for $700 a night.
