The ice cream is THICK which I really like. However I think it's too sweet for me even though I chose cherry and strawberry which are their less sweet flavors. The store is squeaky clean, and they have great customer service. Will come back to try hand squeezed lemonade ^^
Delicious ice cream!! We stayed at Newport Beach for a week and went to Handel's 3 times! They were very friendly and helpful, and have a great location! Our favorite flavors were the Salty Carmel Truffle and Brownie Dough ice cream!
Totally recommend it. Perfect for a hot day or even a cold one, they are delicious.The liked all the flavours we tried. Banana, chocolate, cherry and I tried watermelon because I don’t eat dairy and it was super natural and fresh.Most of them are dairy, non dairy they have like 5 flavours.The servings are big so the single one is like a double.You can choose between cone or cup. And the cones have different shapes and ingredients.They are between 6-12 dollars. (I don’t remember well, but I spent 6 dlls on the single watermelon one).They are close the beach and there are parking areas everywhere.
Terrific ice cream! Got Carmel coconut and it tasted so fresh and good! Also had cherry cordial which was so good that I cracked a tooth on a cherry pit wolfing it down like i never ate before?. Not sure if they do it from fresh cherries or if its a cherry that came in candy. It tasted like Chocolate covered cherries in cherry ice cream. It was so good and probably worth the tooth damage.
Ice cream is made fresh everyday. Lots of flavors. We tried several and all were delicious. Staff were friendly. Restaurant appeared to be clean both visits. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place and will stop here next time I'm in Newport Beach.
Excellent frozen treat’s and ice cream, friendly staff, great prices, and generous portions! They have a wide variety of flavors, and the ice cream is delicious. This is a great stop near the beach, worth at least the try if anywhere near the area!
5 stars , best ice cream I forgot the gals name but she held the pint of ice cream while I walked the pier with my girlfriend , told me to get it before closed. Who ever she is thank you and I will definitely be returning
Definitely in the top 5 of ice cream places I’ve had. I had the Oreo cheesecake and we also got mint chip, very rich flavors and large portion for a single scoop!
Can’t get enough of this ice cream! The service is awesome! The ice cream is out of this world! I LOVE the Black Raspberry Chunk!
Went with my family on our vacation. Excellent Ice cream. Omar made me a great milkshake! Definitely gonna come back if I'm in the area again.
