We popped in for drinks last weekend and sat at the bar. The bartenders were so kind and friendly as well as the staff. The drinks were delicious. We weren't going to order food but the meals coming out looked divine. We tried several different tapas and shared with our group. Everything on the menu was fantastic. Get there before opening to get a place at the bar. So glad we were able to try Fable and Spirit!

The cocktail (Just the two of us) was only ok. Spirit forward as advertised but not a lot of nuance. The food came out quickly. We just got small plates to share, so no comment on the large plates. They were flavorful overall, but nothing spectacular. The bone marrow was quite rich on the bread, and the hamburger meat was actually pretty juicy. Patio seating was nice given the weather but might be too hot during the day.

Fable & Spirit has a great location and beautiful interior. The food is good. The drinks are better.Louis, the bartender was very knowledgeable and passionate about the cocktails and had good recommendations.I'd dine here more often if they changed the menu... I've had most of the small plates already and tried something different...The mussels were delicious! I ate them all.I saw fish & chips on the menu and although it's not something I'd normally order, I gave it a shot. OMG! So good. The fish was nice and flaky, didn't taste deep fried and the mashed peas were delicious. The "chips" though were not house made and tasted like styrofoam (sorry Fable)Short rib was also good, but nothing special. All in all, it was a great experience and I'll be back!

Impressive foods! We just came here for drinks and also ordered a couple of appetizers. And surprisingly their foods are very delicious. I recommend the two appetizers that we have tried which are Brussel sprouts and pork belly. The drinks are nice as well. I also love the restaurant’s design.

Talk about challenging your taste buds. Even with my eyes open I was surprised. No blind taste test needed. Octopus was grilled perfectly. My main course was perfectly moist and flavors that just kept me digging at my plate.

If you’re looking for a dose of London in Orange County this place is a must. For starters the design is inviting yet dim with a beautiful bar. Cozy setting with a great vibe.Drinks: The drinks are awesome! Great selection and all in all well done.Food: Global cuisine. Lots of great items on the menu. My favorite was the yellowtail appetizer and the PEI mussels were great and pizzette were amazing! The Hangar steak was pretty good but nothing I can brag about.Dessert: the blueberry coffee cake was BOMB and a must! Definitely get it at the end and you will not leave disappointed.Service: Chad was our waiter and he did great. Very nice and knew the menu and had great remarks for food and drinks. All in all, lovely setting and great drinks with OK food. Service is great but also dies down quick but that’s just a thing with this area. Definitely worth trying out!

Hands down best thing on the Menu:::: fish and chips OMGGGG LOL However, Everything is worth a try!! It’s so lovingly prepared and thought about. I like how they do special events to for a more hands on experience. Great food and ambiance. We loved the Guinness brown bread and pizzetta. We love brussel sprouts but unfortunately, it was fried here and it really killed the flavor and texture of the brussel sprouts. There were heaters outside which was helpful. It was just two of us and the three plates were enough.

On our first visit last January 2021 we had a disappointing experience. The 2-top tables were so close together the server's rear end was literally in our face when he served the table next to us. We complained to the manager, but nothing was done.

On our first visit last January 2021 we had a disappointing experience. The 2-top tables were so close together the server's rear end was literally in our face when he served the table next to us. We complained to the manager, but nothing was done. So considering it's restaurant week, we thought we would give them another try. Made reservations a full week in advance on Resy and thought I requested the dining room since the evenings are cold outside. In my comments on the reservation website I explained my past negative experience and requested better seating this time. When we arrived at our reservation time, turns out I reserved the "Dinner Patio" in error. I asked the hostess Gabriella if they could seat us inside. She said they were totally booked and offered us the bar, which we declined because it seemed too cramped. Gabriella proceeded to take us outside to our table outside which is basically a table next to another retail establishment in the alley. No one else was eating outside at the time, and Gabriella arrogantly said she would "accommodate" us there. There is a small gated outdoor area with about 5 or 6 tables with heaters which was totally empty except for one couple. Those tables were not offered to us and when my wife told Gabriella the table she gave us was not acceptable she rolled her eyes and said "Oh My God" like we were being unreasonable. You would think that since we had a bad experience on our first visit, a "Michelin" contender would go out of their way to make sure their customers were served properly. Hostesses like Gabriella should pursue less people-facing careers. She was rude, arrogant and unpleasant. We asked to speak to the manager but he was not interested in improving the our customer experience, and spent the entire time defending Gabriella. Hey Michelin, you really missed the boat on this one.
