The tacos are fantastic and the service was friendly and really quick. We are visiting and decided to leave our kids behind to go try this spot, it proved to be a good idea since there wasn’t seating to accommodate many people.
YUMMM! So fresh and delicious! Generous huge tasty burritos. I love their version of guacamole, so flavorful. I can hardly wait to try their fish tacos - next time.
Love coming here and all of the employees are always the best. They make my breakfast burrito even when I order it at 9 pm. My favorite place to eat!
The actual restaurant is a great little place, but I wanted to talk about their catering service. We had this Chronic Tacos franchise cater our wedding and were blown away by the quality of food and service, to say nothing of their ability to roll with all the punches of doing an event this year. They were in communication during the whole lead-up to the wedding, then showed up on the day with amazing food, designed a super cute catering table using decor we provided, and took all the headache out of making sure our guests were fed. A vegan option was no problem, and everything was fresh and delicious.Everything they did felt personalized to our needs, and we couldn't be happier. Not to mention, great price.
Honestly... This is the BEST MEXICAN FOOD ANYWHERE!And the prices aren't that bad either.Always delicious! And the employees were super friendly and helpful!Loved it! I'll be back again... And again... And again!
Mahi mahi tacos were fresh and crispy and the the taco was huge. Breakfast burritos are killer- make sure you get the red salsa inside the burrito. Super friendly service. Support these guys!
Super great food and atmosphere! Our fall break vacation group always has made it a priority to come here for food. The al pastor can be iffy at times but the burritos are my personal favorite.
On Monday evening 12/20/21 I arrived at this Chronic Taco @8:57pm, which I believed to be 1 hr 3 min before closing. No one greeted or talked to me for 4 minutes, it oddly felt like I was being purposely ignored, but I wait patiently. At 9:01pm I’m finally acknowledged when I’m told: “Oh sorry, we’re already closed” and they explain to me on Monday they close 1 hour early. I reply “oh sorry didn’t know that, but it’s not even 9 yet.” To which they reply “ya it is it’s 9:01 sorry.” So the feeling I was purposely being ignored turned out to be exactly what was happening: They were making sure to not let me order until JUST after 9pm so they could tell me they were already closed and refuse to let me buy my dinner. P.S. ALL the food was still out. Register not counted. They were fully open and 100% capable of letting me order, and doing so would not have slowed the employees down or caused them to have to stay longer. Just ridiculous.
Tacos where great, I ordered the shrimp sautéed with flour tortillas street taco style.
Food was great but customer service was horrible. 8pm at night and they were rushing people like they were closing and had a mad tone to their look and in their voice. Music was playing loudly w rap music that was swearing. Not very professional. I was so excited to try them out after seeing on IG. :( Will not be back. Newport PCH.
