Salty and Spicy. The place was lovely. The staff was super helpful. We had the fish tacos, the guacamole, and the fish burrito. The guacamole was quite salty. The fish tacos were really good, but very spicy. The fishes were very fresh. I could take spicy for sure. But, the tacos were way spicy. The burrito was quite large. The margarita Monday was sweet and hit the spot

We showed up last night for dinner with a group of six of us. The food was good and the service was great. If I could make one recommendation, I would say that you guys are using way too much salt on the food and especially on the tortilla chips. We we’re not able to finish the chips because they were so salty. Please keep in mind that everyone in our group likes to have salt on our food and the tortilla chips, it was just overkill. We would still recommend anyone enjoying drinks and food at Chihuahuas.

NEVER coming here AGAIN! Food is VERY Mediocre, I’ve had WAY BETTER Mexican fusion. The Horchata was extremely sweet, the chicken burrito was meh. The supposedly their Hottest salsa was overly sweet it ruined the actual flavor. Even the “free” chips were over cooked. ?♀️ My friend’s burrito made her stomach hurt and rumble as we drove home, (I hope you know what that means). Service wasn’t the best either… Waitress brought us our utensils and Mine just had a knife, how could she and whoever put them together, NOT see the Fork was Missing????? SUCH a waste of money; and this place gets so many 5 stars???? REALLY???? Wow… ?♀️?♀️?♀️?♀️??????
Not that great. The green salsa was super salty and the red ones were so overly sweet and the carne asada burritos didnt taste like carne asada the whole burritos tastes mostly like oregano and not much else but i liked the chips
If the weather is nice, you should definitely eat outside!! Good food with nice sun, and this place is super close to Newport beach. Highly recommend!!
Super cute order at the counter and grab a seat eatery for "hip" Mexican fusion style food. Service was great & the lady offered great recommendations. The Tamarindo Michelada-Mango Cart was yummy, but pretty steep on the price for the serving size. The carnitas chilaquiles verde were good & spicy. Huevos rancheros w/carnitas was also good & a nice serving size for the price. Avocado toast & cheese quesadillas were okay, very straightforward. Great outside seating options! We will be back again... There's also a small car show that happens on Sunday mornings (which what brought us to the area) that has a chill, local vibe. Great for grabbing breakfast & checking out some beautiful cars. Not sure if it's part of something Chihuahua Cerveza does or not, but it works.
