Very bad chicken soup - way too salty. Breakfast size is good for pancake but french toast comes with one slice which is ridiculous even in this neighbourhood. Overall very underwhelming experience.
Horrible managerBe aware of the deceitful receipt system.They added the gratuity automatically and make you tip again for that total, unless they changed its way by now.
Yesterday my order was prepared in correctly. I called and spoke to the manager Matt, and he apologized and offered to refund the meal or personally deliver another one. Today Matt personally brought the meal just like he said and it was made perfectly. Thank you Matt for being professional and putting the customer first.
I can't wait to come back to Champagnes!It has great customer service and a variety of delicious food. It's a very clean restaurant with nice decor... a perfect upscale vibe but with affordable prices.We ordered a cheese pizza, French dip, a champagne burger and cookies. All of it was AMAZING. Whatever you choose to get, don't forget to get some of the fresh cookies... they're made from scratch!
New owners but same old menu, at least for now.Don't get the turkey meatloaf...bad flavor and aftertaste, ? ugh.
In the past the food and service have been excellent. Great pizza, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, chicken soup, green beans, all of their sandwiches. I hope the new owners don’t screw it up.
Great little spot for lunch or dinner. Have a great sandwich but the woodfired pizza is some of the best I've ever had! The owner came out to check on me and my fiancé to make sure everything was great. We will definitely be heading back to this spot

I really don’t like their chicken noodle soup, but I love their French onion soup. Turkey sandwich is pretty good too.Phone orders are usually pretty quick. A little pricey.
Popped in for a quick to go order. Lived in Newport all my life, never been to Champagnes. I know it’s Covid but there is no one in here and am waiting over 20 minutes for a simple order. The worst thing is that they over charged me 11.00 for 4 items and say it’s because it’s the dinner menu at 4:30. But I ordered at 4:00. Oh well.
