Overall, we continue to love the food and experience at Benihana. Unfortunately, they were short staffed and it ran our reservations almost 40 minutes behind.
Wait is too long even with reservation. They always seem to be running late 30min to an hour everyday.
They said we could not be seated for our 8 pm tell reservation till 8:30-8:40 and said if we sit down at the bar side the food become right out. It was to say we left the restaurant at 10:15 pm. We didnât get the Benihana show I feel like we had smaller servings and waited just as long as if we had stayed for the hibachi side
Well, we had a 6:30 reservation seated at 7ish. Salads and soup came quickly and one hour later a chief finally came to our table. It is not the chief fault. It is booking too many tables with to few chiefs. Half our table left at 8 before shelf came. We remained were told that we would get 50 off our bill but that did not happen. Anyway, we told chief we did not need the volcano we were just hungry and we had our dinner. We left a few minutes to 9. This is not the first time, often as we go once a month it is 2 hours because of wait. But it was never this bad. Do not book more people than you can serve. Simple. Or hire more chiefs. Our chief was very nice but was under lots of pressure to serve us and move on. I would not recommend until the service is under 2 hours for dinner. Love the food.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my son's 22nd birthday. The server Danielle was amazing and took such good care of us. The only drawback of the evening was how short staffed they were. There was a bit of a wait for our chef but all was worth it!
Kids loved it! A great reminder of pre-Covid fun times.
