Bowls are great but staff is TERRIBLE. I've been here so many times in the last few years, each time hoping that the service will get better and it never does. This week I stopped by with a couple friends and the teenage employees ignored us completely for 10 minutes while they stared at their phones. Then they took our orders, but decided they needed to record themselves dancing and singing/rapping? for thirty whole minutes. They weren't busy; nobody else was there and none of them were preparing online orders or anything. We stood there for 45 minutes and the only time the blenders turned on was for our 3 bowls. FORTY FIVE minutes to make 3 acaí bowls when we were the only customers.
Yesterday, I received an incomplete order, only one out of three items, via Doordash. Today I drove to the location to rectify the error. I was immediately greeted with an apology for the mistake. I walked out with the other two items remade a little while later. The worker was extremely friendly and delivered excellent customer service! I will definitely order from them again!
Going to Banzai when we come to Newport is a must. Always a great treat to have after a long day at the beach.
WOW ? WHAT AN ABSOLUTE EXPERIENCE! I went to this place two days in a row because it’s that good. I recommend the Maui bowl.
The bowls are good. But they really need to improve the system. Several people were skipped when making the bowls. We waited 40 minutes. A guy just walked up and took another lady’s order. Waisted almost an hour. Never again.
Tastes great. Crazy slow when ordering during peak hours. Figure out how to speed it up!
First timer. I didn’t quite understand what a Banzai bowl was, but they just said it was a açaí with different types of blends. I got “Da Kine”, which was a blend of açaí, chocolate hemp milk, bananas, strawberries with a peanut butter, honey, granola, banana, and sliced almond top. I like that they put a bit of granola on the bottom too so you have some toppings when you get to the end. The small was enough for me and my fiancé to split.
Really great bowls! Biked there while on vacation with my family of four! My toddlers enjoyed the bowls as well. Tasted great and being a vegan family and finding quicker takeout places can be tricky on trips so bowls are always a must for us!!

No masks on employees making food or on patrons entering indoors. Wouldn't let me cancel order because of it, I have two kids with medical issues at home that I can't risk because your employees don't feel like being responsible humans. Thanks but no thanks unless you can show that your employees are vaccinated, I'll pass.
