Dude at the front door reaked of alcohol & didn't believe my sister was her. Came across super creepy, asked her for a bunch of personal information. Will not be returning.

Always have a great time there. Love that they have pool tables. Drinks are great. It's a local favorite. Adjacent to the fun zone makes it even more convenient.

They said we couldn't come in with our masks on and tried to take our credit cards at the door. Obviously we didn't go in and will never go back.
Not our first time in Balboa Saloon, but definitely our most memorable. Today is my husband’s birthday so we stopped in for a beer after a long bike ride. Jeff and the other patrons absolutely made my husband’s day. Such kindness and so many laughs our cheeks hurt. Thank you Jeff for being such an amazing human and the tower of “gifts” we lugged home. See ya next week ?.
