Come for the Balboa bar, stay for the pigeons. Friendly guys at the counter. The Balboa bar is everything you think it is. A tourist trap and still so good!
Fun spot by the bay. Nice picnic benches next to the pick up window for eating with the kids. Our teenage boys liked the fried oreos. Good hot chocolate, churros, Balboa bars, and frozen bananas.
Loralee and Aunt Karen both ordered frozen banana treats while I went with a swirl cone (regular cone, not waffle). After our boat ride it was quite refreshing to grab something sweet and this really hit the spot! Definitely recommend trying this spot if your nearby and looking for some cold.

I admire this place very much. It has a different mood. The food is marvelous. the service is effective and the waiters are courteous. The price is reasonable. deeply recommend.
Five star funnel cakes, for sure. Crispy, yet soft inside, with whip creme and strawberries. Can't be beat!
