As an ice cream fanatic, I ordered the “Build Your Own Box” ice cream for delivery to New Orleans, which allowed my picky family to sample different flavors. The consensus was that this is by far the best ice cream we’ve ever had, including at some of NOLA’s best boutique shops! The “Closed on Sunday,” “Bean Mi” and “Butter Pecan” are simply outrageous! I don’t exactly understand the “flash frozen” process, but this is like the difference between Blue Fin Tuna and Tilapia! I am so astounded by the owner kari (aka Karen) on how she treats her employees. We were enjoying a family day laughing over ice cream, when one of her employees asked her to cover the register. He was busy making ice cream and couldn't help the customer right away. Instead of wanting the extra customer satisfaction she had a minor scuffle. My family thought none of it and continued enjoying each others company. She started to mop the floor and talking rudely about her employee who closed the night before. Critizing her on her work ethic. It wasn't a quiet altercation it was so incredibly loud and rude. She was the big bad wolf who went on huffing and puffing. My family quieted down as the employees were hard at work. As what we assumed was the night shift employee came in, we noticed she disappeared to the back for while and saw the poor employee reappear with tears. Not only was she crying, but another employee too. I have never heard of an owner so rude and one who belittles poor kids to tears. All of you need to quit. There are better jobs out there instead of working under a tyrannous Karen who makes you cry. The guy and the two kids were very great and kind. We enjoyed their service, however the owner made it so uncomfortable and awful. Looking at previous reviews, we purchased our ice cream under Taylor and the date was friday Feb. 18. Can't wait for your inmature response as an owner.

The ice cream was beyond delicious. I had the chocolate 2. To die for. Very creamy and looked as good as it tasted. A must stop when in Newport Beach.

I really enjoyed my coffee bean one. I think it was so energizing that I had a difficult time going to sleep, but it was worth it. I had a long drive home. I really wanted to try the cherries jubilee though. I liked that they use the Luxardo ?.
