Unfortunately during my lunch visit there were problems.1. On the window signs, it says 10% off to go orders. I placed the order and was told later that 'only on weekends and evenings.' Huh? I didn't want to make a big deal out of it.2. Took about 20 minutes for the goi coun and the bahn mi to be made. As I was getting ready to pay with a credit card, I was told the credit card machine was not working and asked to pay with cash. Huh?3. Noticed I was charged for a to go bag. No big deal.4. Not much meat in the bahn mi and the spring rolls.Given the many other choices around there, I am not planning on returning.
I was feeling nostalgic and was missing my Asian friends so much on Valrntine's day. I went to this place to 'feel' my beloved friends thru food and remember the great times spent together in SoCal. My vegetarian soup was fantastic. The portion was huge, and thought about that friend that can finish your plate when your stomach is full. I felt the laughter and great time spent with my friends. The chrisantemus tea, oh my! The warmth of the tea combined with its gentle sweetness comforted my heart. The beautiful biodegradable cup and the nature decorated cupholder made me feel like I was in direct connection with mother nature. This place comforted my soul with delicious food and drinks. I really recommend this place.PS- There was a party of 10 next to my table. The high vibration of love, friendship and acceptance emanating from that table made the experience 1000x better.
This place is great! Delicious food, friendly service, nice atmosphere and pricing is super reasonable. Highly recommended for sure!

We returned here after having a great first experience with their filet mignon pho during their happy hr. Unfortunately, our second visit will be our last. We came in with two toddlers who cannot handle spice and specifically asked before ordering if their wok-tossed garlic calamari was spicy or not. The server confidently claimed that it was not spicy at all. Once we tried it, it was spicy even for us adults and I saw that it had been tossed with sliced jalapeños! We told our server that our kids could not eat it and it was even spicy for us but all she did was say sorry and that was it. No offer of trying to make it right somehow or taking it off our bill. When I asked if it could be taken off our bill, she gave a very weird look like I said something in an alien language. We will no longer go here for pho/vietnamese food… there are so many other places in Fremont/Union City that offer great food AND great service.
Modern, Classy, Hip and they deliver on the wines and food! Stopped here for Happy Hour and some snacks - the Charcuterie plate was excellent and the deviled eggs rocked.Great date place - I was here with friends and it was so comfortable and I loved the vibe. Obviously great selections of wines but happy they delivered on the food.
Today I had the opportunity to join the party at Nguyen Vu restaurant. This is my first time eating here, but I am really surprised about this restaurant.- First of all, the food is very delicious, there are enough Vietnamese dishes and fast food here. The colors of the dishes are very beautiful, the taste is very similar to the dishes in Vietnam that I have the opportunity to come to Vietnam.-Next, the restaurant space here is very airy, clean, beautifully decorated and the parking lot is very large.-Another is that the prices here are very reasonable. We were about 50 people, ate a lot of delicious food but it cost us just over $900.00. Moreover, today we are fortunate to be supported by the restaurant owner and staff here, they are very nice, take good care of customers, serve very attentively.So our party was very warm and fun. If there is another party, I will come back here again. Thank you very much Nguyen Vu restaurant. ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿
Best dishes: Basil Tofu with Rice, Spring Rolls (they can make them vegetarian or with shrimp/chicken)Ok: Combination Fried Rice (they allow substitution with the mean, e.g., no squid)Not that great: Chow Mien (the thin noodle they use are not really my favorite)I love to support local restaurants so I wanted to give this a try. They accidentally messed up on my order so they redid it the next day and gave me an extra tea for my inconvenience, which was very nice service!

Great! Nguyen Vu Restaurant has delicious food, attractive presentation, best price in the region, enthusiastic and attentive staff, with a large parking area.I have come to this restaurant many times and have used many different dishes from Com, Pho, Bun Bo and all the dishes here are very good, in my opinion this is a restaurant with special delicious dishes among the restaurants that I do used to come. The rice dishes are varied Ribs, Egg Custard, Seafood, and Salmon with rich flavors and delicious taste. Pho, Bun Bo Hue has the most delicious and standard broth that I have ever known. Most of the other restaurants I went to broth have been pretty bland but Nguyen Vu never let me down, so I'm a regular customer.Today I share for everyone to enjoy delicious food and interesting things at this restaurant.
