5/26/22 Thursday I was in sprouts farmers market cross a street n saw this restaurant but someday stop by n will try their food.
We are form Mumbai and we’re really exited to go to this restaurant. We ordered Dabeli, Veg frankie, Hakka noodles and kheema pav. We were really disappointed with the food. I won’t even rate the dabeli and frankie, they were not good at all. The noodles were 1 star. The kheema pav was okay.
The vada pav at this place is the best we have had after trying soo many different places. Their lasun chutney is out of this world.We also have tried other varieties of their food and it all comes with high quality and taste.Our favorites revolve around the street food menu and have tried some of their entrees too!
Ordered lunch special(Balti panner) through doordash. It was mentioned they would give chana or dal, but they didn't give anything from those. The jalapeño naan is good.Ordered two lunch specials and they didn't provide Chana or dal for both of them.
Ordered misal pav, and the misal was made with peas, not matki. The misal didn't have any flavor other than hot.
Authentic Indian food. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. They serve the Best Murgh Makhani ( Butter Chicken) I’ve ever had, including a place in Delhi, India.
The food was very disappointing for the price quality and quantity they offered. I odered one vegetable franky, chicken franky and one Dabeli.Vegetable franky had a filling of a bhaji ( which we use it with pao bhaji)Dabeli was average but with no peanuts and chutneys on the side.Chicken franky was ok.I will never go back again nor will i recommend this place to anyone.
Hidden Gem of the Newark!We are vegetarian and they have great options - Balti Paneer, Malai methi mutter Paneer, Wada Pao, Chana Masala -- quite a few good options. Even their Naans are one of the best in the bay area!
The ambiance is great if you dine in. I wouldn't recommend take-out as the food was just ok and portions are small for the price they are charging. Their spicy options usually has better quality. Ever since they increased the price of the dishes I don't think it's worth it any longer.
Authentic Indian food with good service. Everything on the menu has its unique test as per the name.
