One of the curries on the buffet had a big cooked into it. We informed someone and they took our plate but didn't remove it from the buffet. They gave us a dessert to try to make up for the bug, but ironically, it had a fly cooked into it.
We come here a lot for parties and celebrations, great banquet room that allows people to meet in the middle easily for dancing. Food is very good. My only complaint is how everything looks a little outdated with wooden panel walls that have chipped away, but I guess that's part of the nostalgic appeal of this place.
Had our weekly office lunch here. Reserved a table for the lunch buffet. We arrived half an hour after opening so there were not much customers at the time. They still had to set up the masala tea and clean cups. Business picked up around 12:30, 1 PM. This looks like a great time since the food was fresh. It was our first time there and they had something for everyone's tastes so it was a pleasant experience.
Good place, good buffet. Clean, price reasonable. Good service, spacious. plenty of items in menus and buffet. enough parking, safe place, good decor. Party space available. Overall good combo.
Try the lunch buffet, like it very much. All the food is fresh, they are serving hot naan on table. Mutton curry is good and outstanding is the desert “Gajar ka halwa” (carrot based sweet dessert)
This review is primarily for the food. The buffet still going strong. Solid flavor, many choices, and reasonably priced (especially considering current inflation). Still one of the most reliably good Indian buffets in the Bay Area with staple dishes.
Ate the dinner buffet here for the first time and it was delicious. The variety was huge and really fresh. The fish pakoras and tandoori chicken were spiced just right and we really enjoyed the food here. The staff is also very nice and attentive.
Awful experience. We waited to be seated and the front desk person (probably the manager of the place) asked us to come back in 30 min. We asked if we need to put down our name in the wait list, he said he will remember by face. After 30 min, we were back inside and he said “sorry we are closed now.” And he literally opened the gate for us so that we leave. we asked him saying that why he asked before to come back, he gave an angry face to us and said “ I don’t remember, it’s closed. So please go now”. Please learn first to respectfully treat your customers. That is basic to any business. And it was written on board, 3.30 pm closing time, and this incident happened at 2.45 pm.
First impression is the last. Very happy to know you had a buffet system on Friday evening when we visited your place with my family for the fist time.Neat and clean. 18 dishes..large varaties.Loved the food. Well cooked and very flavorful. Topped it with free soft drinks Including Indian Tea and great Desert Gajar Halva and kheer.Waiter was very polite and helpful.
The buffet lunch was very reasonably priced and atmosphere was very nice. Staff was also attentive and the naan just kept coming ?. Liked the lamb curry and palak paneer. Will definitely come back.
