Meats were excellent, but proportions were off -- not nearly enough pickles + other ingredients for the amount of meat

OMG! This is a hidden gem. The sandwich was fresh, hot and packed with flavor. Also, perfectly priced for a daily lunch (almost). The sandwich is HUGE! So you can probably save some for a late noon snack. I am surprised this place doesn’t get more attention. I am telling everyone I know.

We stopped her for a quick lunch between #birding visits to Coyote Hills and Ardenwood Farms. The location is quite close to Ardenwood. We will keep it in mind for future visits. We had four different dishes ranging from Pho to Fire Pot, and all were excellent. Not crowded. We ate inside as the outside tables available wouldn't seat four of us. A nice find.

First timers! Bahn Mi's were so good! customer service was very courteous, and quick. Food was delicious, portions were worth the price. Soups looked amazing also!

Probably the best Vietnamese restaurant in the area

Banh mi is amazing but don’t get the pho

Great spot if you tired of food trucks and sprouts sandwiches. Owners are super friendly.

We ordered a sandwich and coffee from their site. Came there to pick it up by its estimated time. However, it wasn't ready; the guy was starting to make our order. So mehh... I will have to say that they aren't the quickest sandwich makers in the game.Sandwiches themselves are very pricey but well worth it since they taste so fresh. Quality is amazing. However, would pass on the drinks, not a fan of.Mm I would come back since I love banh mi.... But Cam Huong also makes ridiculously cheap sandwiches that are maybe 30-40% less the price you pay here... So I'm very conflicted.

I’ve tried quite a few banh mi places in the bay, including popular ones like Cam Hung and Banh Mi Oven, but Banh Mi by Rice and Spoon is my favorite. At first I was skeptical since their prices are higher than other places’, especially the restaurants in East San Jose. However, I was always disappointed by something at other places (like bread quality, small protein portions, unusual patê taste, sad looking veggies, etc), so I gave this place a try. Their sandwiches are sooo good. The classic, with the housemade ham roll, is my favorite.

Great banh mi sandwiches. Very affordable
