It’s a great place with themed decor. The menu was quite new and authentic. Friendly staff, fast service and great ambiance. It’s a little pricey location. The cake we ordered was fine but our favorite was the matcha Parfait. Expect typical Japanese desserts matcha style. Not too sweet either. Rare try for me.
Cute spit for desert or a refreshing sweet drink. Got the Taiyaki macha soft served on a hot day hit the spot. Get a hot macha latte and a cake on a cold day to feel cozy and warm up. Sad to see someone broke their windows, please go support and help them get back to looking nice and safe.
Walking into Amausaan Uji Matcha you might feel a tad bit intimidated by the menu if you're not familiar with the variety of Japanese deserts. But pull yourself together and get to the counter and you'll find a friendly attendant who was patient and helpful. We tried the soft serve matcha and the matcha/sakura swirl. I found the matcha soft serve to have good flavor, not too earthy and just adequately sweetened. The waffle cone was crisp and fresh. This is a hidden gem in Newark, no really, it's hidden, tucked away in a strip mall on Cedar. The store is nicely decorated and clean.
Didn’t expect something like this to pop up in Fremont, but here we are ?. Love Japanese desserts, glad that we have this now. Their green tea matcha crepe cake obviously is a must-try.
Awesome cute place to visit with tasty snacks, admit prices are a bit on the steeper side but lots of variety of things including cold/hot drinks, crepe cakes , sponge cakes ,and ice cream
Love Japanese soft cream! This was a nice visit with desserts that reminded me of my time in Japan.Bubbly pink interior, good lychee rose tea (but very lukewarm and only kept warm by a tea light), and not bad matcha quality.Skip the hojicha crepe cake—wasn’t strong enough hojicha flavor and a bit chewy.Coming back to try the parfait another day.
Pink-themed interior. Good ambience and tasty desserts. Ordered the "sakura and matcha ice cream with matcha taiyaki." The taiyaki crust was solid, crispy, and held the ice cream well. This is in a higher price range for desserts, but the quality when dining makes up for it. Expect to spend a bit more than usual when eating here.
We love the pink vibes and their cake is my top favorite. We also like the 9 dishes dessert here. It is a cute place to sit and relax with friends and family. Definitely coming back to try other desserts
This location has nice prep and the offerings come out looking good. The taste however, leaves me wanting. The Berkeley location is definitely better when it comes to yumminess.
Absolutely beautiful place, so much fun to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The taiyaki was excellent, though it was broken so it leaked. The mango smoothie was also terrific, very floral and aromatic. My husband got the hochija 'story', it had a lot of fixings, including some pudding at the bottom.
