Recently I tried the Oreo and Pistachio pops from Snow Pops. I must say they are an absolute pleasure to the taste buds. We also tried churros and beignets both were delicious. Overall experience was amazing.
I have been to many other shaved ice places including the best in the nation by far “Jerry’s snow cones” in Memphis. And by far, this was the worst place. We stopped by at 7pm on a week night and the service took a while because, just like everywhere else, it was short staffed with one employee. There was a sign that clearly said no mask, no service but it was not being enforced from my observation.We ordered a regular shaved ice with cherry flavor.The main reason for my one star review is simply due to the fact that shaved ice tasted horrible. After one spoon, It was very clear that the shaved ice and the syrup were mismatched, creating a weird, awful after taste. Ice was soft and puffy, which was great, but it was quickly overwhelmed by thick, gooey, extremely syrupy cherry syrup. General rule of a good shaved ice that syrup and ice must complement and supplement each other but in this case, the combination created a disharmonious taste where one ingredient overpowers the other; leaving an imbalanced taste. They should’ve used more light and diluted syrup to complement such soft shaved ice so we could taste the melding of both ingredients. Or they could have used a bit chunky ice to counter the thick syrup texture. Sadly, their current recipe did not produce the desired impact.
I love Snow Pops SD. Started out with the popsicles (Fav: Taro, PeanutButter, Oreo) & Now that I’m pregnant everyday, I go get the SnowBalls plain. When I say addicted lol ? I know my family tired of me and my ice runs. #pregowomancravings if your from hawaii like me this is as close as you can get to shaved ice from back home.

I've gone a couple times and both times that I've gone I loved their popsicles a Fruity Pebbles and the watermelon with chamoy y chacachaca
Their shaved ice ? is awesome. I brought my daughters here and we loved it. They have so many flavors and other menu items that look good too. Definitely coming back.

Okay so I recently discovered this placeㅡ More like, I finally visited it and wow I LOVE it. Popsicles are amazing, my little sisters love them but I'm there for the shave ice or "snowpop" as they call it. It's very reminiscent to Hawaii shave ice, which is my favorite thing ever. Please NEVER get shave ice confused for snowcones or "shaved ice", as those aren't like Hawaii's "shave ice". those are much more course than the shave ice ghat literally melts in your mouth. Definitely my new favorite spot!Also bonus for their really cool temperature changing spoon!
