Horrible experience customer service I am a mom of 3 kids it was my first time at the place and to be honest I don’t know much about the drinks and the lady instead of helping she was making me feel more embarrassed until I said is my first time here can you please explain. Literally she roll up her eye !!! I can’t believe she have a job as a customer service is incredible if it was my place I would have a nice people !!!
hi!! i go to sdboba a fair amount, and i’ve never had an issue thus far! i love how friendly the workers are as well as the variety and quality of the foods. however, i recently got a drink and almost swallowed actual bits of what i think is a candy/chocolate wrapper?i thought it was a a shaving of some sort at first, before i remembered that i get this order pretty often and i’ve never tasted that at all. oddly enough, i find this to be a minor inconvenience and what must have been an honest mistake. the drink is good, i’m just a little concerned by how much i was able to pick out after only drinking it for about 3 minutes. see the picture for reference (these were all from the bottom of the cup and weren’t visible at first glance).
Best snow Thai tea around! And all of the staff is super nice even when they are slammed. They are super patient with me even when I take forever to order. Also, they have super cute pins!Update: this shop holds a special place in my heart, I’ve been going for so long that I’ve seen staff come/go/change shifts. Even if the staff that remember me leave, I am always greeting joyfully. It’s the little things in life and SD Boba is where I go when I’ve had a rough day and I need something sweet to cheer me up. Fantastic set up but it’s the staff that make it awesome. Thank you to “Dad” and all of the fun staff, you are doing wonderful!
They are still paranoid about COVID with signs saying they will refuse to serve people who aren't wearing masks. They still took our money without a mask.Great teas but you can blend at home and save tons.Probably worth going if you're a family or under the age of 20.
Yesterday I visited SD Boba Tea. We started off of with the pistachio milk tea boba which was really amazing. Next up we tried the Ferrero Rocher and Brownie Shakes which were heavenly. The consistency and taste was perfect. For food I highly recommend breaded zucchini. We also had mozzarella sticks and sweet potato fries. Belgian Waffle and Honey brick toast are definitely a must try. Overall experience was amazing. Definitely a must visit.
i love this place. It might just be me though cuz i really like weird and eclectic places and this is def that. When you walk in its like walking into a really decorated and cozy cottage with cute little garden chairs and tables scattered throughout the cafe.
I used to come to this place 4 years ago and sadly this time I came back to san Diego. I realized that the quality has gone down a bit. They do observe good covid precautions and I do appreciate that. We bought boba tea and we requested regular sweetness and it was very overly sweet and some of the macaron flavors that used to taste very natural tasted more of artificial ingredients being used, and the macaron did not taste like a macaron but more of a cookie and I wasnt satisfied. I do say that the taro milk tea was delicious.
I visited this place reading their views, this is a very average place and honestly I felt the macaroons were a little too sweet. The ice cream macaroons were delicious though! Would recommend having the ice cream macaroons.
I love this place! Their boba is fantastic, I love all the flavor options! Lavender, rose, and horchata are my personal favorites, but I'm not sure I've ever had one I didn't like here. Everything else I've gotten here is great too, especially the brick toast and crepes. The savory foods are also good.
Easily the best boba, macaroons, and mochi ice cream in San Diego!They NEED a bigger location so that they can grow the way they deserve!
