100% the real deal with Mexican Raspado. Real fruit used to make her flavor bursting syrups. If you know you know. This is the same lady who was in the former Advantage building (now it's El Super). Then she moved to 8th St (near Big Ben Market) and now she's here. She won't disappoint! Totally recommend. By far the BEST Raspados I've ever had! They have a bunch of different handmade syrups + most of the fruit ones have fresh chunks of fruit in them! The strawberry ? mixed with mango ? & the tamarindo raspado are two of my faves. Sometimes I'll go for vanilla or limón but they are ALL delicious! They also have a lot of different options for snacks/food. Fruit salad, nachos, tostilocos, tortas, and some weekends they do tamales, champurado, birria, menudo, and it is always AMAZING! You can also call and place orders for tamales and the owner gets the orders done so quick. Even when I placed a last minute order for Christmas? If I could rate it 10 stars I would. Will continue to support this mom & pop shop forever!❤️

Coming from a white girl from Ohio who was dragged here by my Mexican mother in law when I wanted ice cream, I’ll go out on a limb and say this was good. Not totally sure what to reference it to but I’m fairly certain this is just shaved ice. Apparently it’s not? Idk. The flavors taste like the candy HI Chew if you know what that is, if not I’d compare it to cheap candy taste. But some people like that taste.I got strawberry and it tasted like watermelon after a while but it was good if you want a cold snack but not the heaviness of ice cream.
