Arepas & Empanadas are hot, fat, & stuffed. Meat was delicious. This place is crack. Gluten free apparently for those whom that matters

The ladies in the kitchen kill it ! Their food is so tasty and fresh each time. I get the empanadas and my husband loves the Trancao. Great portions. Passionfruit tea is a must !

Most legit Venezuelan food I’ve come across in years. They have Cachapa! Best in the EEUU

We stopped in for dinner here and the food was pretty tasty! I had a taco and an arepas and was not disappointed. We ate in, and while the atmosphere is a bit lacking, the friendliness of the staff member who took our order made up for it!

I love this place, a great addition to our city. I am obsessed with their Maracuya (Passionfruit) drink and have tried the shrimp arepa and the cachapa (a delicious corn pancake with cheese and cream).Definitely recommended- support our local businesses!

Being one of the few restaurants in south San Diego that sells Latin food, this place have disappointed me. I have previously bought food from this restaurant and I was satisfied with their food taste and portions. Now it seems they reduced their food portions and food simply don’t taste the same. They need to replace their cook asap because I ordered a cheese and butter arepa and I got a burnt arepa. I will not be coming back anytime soon and hopefully they hire a cook that can cook.

The menu had many options, the establishment was clean, fresh and airy. Great customer service explaining the menu. First time visit, won't be the last.

This place used to be great. I've been here many many times. It's a reminder of what Latino food is like but I am going to have to go else where. I came in yesterday Sunday 19 December 2021. There were 3 tables finishing there food when I went in to order to go. So it's not busy. I ordered the Bandeja paisa, order of Carne asada fries, and two Carne asada burrito. Nothing fancy. It took 52 minutes to make. Se also had fried yucca. So for those meals we spent 72 dollars. That's a lot first of all. We waited a long time. The food... omg. No flavor. First the fries looked so skimpy. All we asked for was no Pico de gallo. They only put a few squirts of sour cream a bit of meat and a few French fries. What the hell? The Bandeja paisa was missing the arepa and it seemed like the chicharron was way smaller then usual. The small piece of steak was eaten in two bites. That plate is 18.99. The burritos was more tortilla. It seemed like they ran out of sour cream, because only one had very little and the other just didn't have anything. The fried yucca was plain. Normally it gets cheese sprinkled on it and nothing. This was very very disappointing. This is why I rather go to sabores colombiano or antojitos colombianos. I'm a chef. I've worked in different places and understand it being busy, but yesterday was not busy and for $72 this was a total embarrassment to the culinary culture, the Latino love for the food culture and to people like me that have supported this place religiously for the last 2 to 3 years. Never again.

Amazing latin food.Great music, service, and food! A San Diego classic !
