Food was tasty and plated well, but the smaller portions along with slightly higher price kind of took the visit in the wrong direction.

Ceviche costeño is no longer what it used to be. No flavor... Tasted like the put a tiny bit of lemon juice and tajin on top. No flavor. Not sure if they switched cooks or what.

Service was good but food wasnt. Chicken was over cooked and tasted chared, bitter, and dry. Shrimp was plain tasting with no flavor, and prawns were same bitter char taste. Not impressed at all and I used to love Karinas. Cant say its the same.

By far my favorite mariscos place in San Diego! My go-to orders are the Ceviche Karina's and the Filete Karina's (though everything is soooo good)

Brought my aunt and her boyfriend from out of town here and I felt kind of bad for the service we got.. first we ordered a dozen oysters, they were pretty fresh so I will give them that! The chips and salsa came out after we had already been seated for 20 minutes.. the oyster tray stood on the table after we were done with them and ice melted from it and leaked everywhere.. we kept asking for napkins before the waitress finally decided to come get it.. we got two orders of Pulpo a Las Brasas with shrimp. They were pretty good but not the best I’ve had, I think this places quality had gone down a lot since Covid.. when we ordered our food they asked us if we wanted corn or flour tortillas but when they brought out food out, we had to ask for the tortillas.. and they o my gave us two.. and they were over cooked..

My mom and I visited Karina's at this location for the first time and I can say it was a good experience. We ordered Salmon and a 7 mares caldo and both plates were delicious. Service was excellent. Our server kept on coming by to ask if we needed anything. We will be back when in the area.

I went down for the Lowrider cruze, and finished up at katrinas. They were packed, but still managed to get me a clean table out on the deck where I could wave at the cars while I ate. Soon, though, I had nearly forgotten about the cars, because the fish burrito was fresh, tender, and delicious. Thumbs up from this floating fat man!

We had a Valentine’s dinner at Karina’s restaurant, the food was outstanding. We ordered grill octopus (pulpo a las brasas) and it was delicious, the cocktails were nothing but great (Piña Coladas & Margaritas). One of my favorite appetizers were the shrimp rapped with bacon. The guacamole was amazing, super fresh and well seasoned. The service was exceptional, my family and I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

It’s just middle of the road. We got ceviche and some tacos. None of what we got were terrible but it wasn’t good either. Everything tasted a bit bland and not as fresh compared to other Mexican seafood we had around in San Diego. It is also relatively pricey.

Delicious. Mostly a seafood menu, but there is also chicken and beef. I went with the “Tradicional” which is Rib eye steak, chicken, jumbo shrimp, mushrooms with melted cheese served in hot stone (molcajete). Totally worth the price, my fiancé went with the chicken tacos and was very pleased. I may not come back to this location because there is a Karina’s closer to my house, but I definitely recommend eating here.
